Liu Banxian

Liu Banxian, who lives in Tianjin Wei under Wuhexia, has two unique skills in his life. One is the bone shrinking technique. This ancient technique is not as magical as in movies and TV shows, but it is not the dragon-slaying technique that ordinary people imagine.

The bone reduction technique has been passed down orally from generation to generation. You have to take medicinal baths since childhood, and there are also extremely harsh and cruel conditions. There are two hard bones behind the human shoulder, which protect the rib cage like armor. They are called scapulae. They need to be practiced. For people who undergo bone reduction surgery, their shoulder blades must be crushed into pieces before the age of 7 when they are not yet strong. Only when they grow back can they hope to practice kung fu well.

This kind of pain is not something that ordinary people can endure. In ancient times, when officials arrested people from those ferocious green forests and grass, they would use chains to pierce their pipa bones. The pipa bone is the shoulder blade. Once the shoulder blade is locked, unless there is a fierce person who can endure the pain and break the collarbone Break it, and then pull the iron ring out of the body, otherwise you will not be able to escape at all. You can imagine how painful the shoulder blade injury is.

Another thing Liu Banxian did was his ear skills. It was rumored that he could distinguish mosquitoes and flies with just one ear. However, Mr. Gu said that Liu Banxian's ears were surprisingly strong. How strong they were. If a copper plate was thrown into a well, he would be stunned. It can accurately tell the depth, and the error will not exceed three centimeters.

Speaking of this, I actually don't need Lao He to explain, I can understand why the people of Tianjin Wei call him Liu Banxian who stomps on the earth and shrinks the ground, and climbs to the sky with a rope.

What is even more surprising is that this Liu Banxian is actually an out-and-out native master.

Not everyone knows his true identity. Liu Banxian works in a low-key manner and has only had two apprentices in his life. The eldest apprentice learned the master's bone shrinking technique, but unfortunately his ears are not good. The younger apprentice was brought back before Liu Banxian was about to wash his hands in the golden basin. , was born with stronger ears than ordinary people, and with Liu Ban's careful teaching, he inherited Liu Ban's mantle of hearing.

The reason why Lao He knew this was because there was a fierce man in Longshan Pavilion back then, who was the only successor of Liu Ban's disciple. He traveled extensively with the second master back then, but now he has retreated to the background.

Liu Ban had handled countless tombs back then. He didn't know how to look at things, but with a pair of ears, he could easily discover details that ordinary people couldn't detect.

Whether there is a cavity underground, whether there is a palace, what the structure is, and how big the area is can be easily identified by just hearing it. He likes to carry a handful of steel balls with him, and when he robs a tomb, he throws it into the tomb passage, and he can tell it by listening to the echo. Depending on the depth, you usually go straight to the back room and open the coffin to find gold.

What's even more rare is that Liu Ban was very polite and he never destroyed the body after opening the coffin. He only picked up a few items and never took away all the artifacts.

It was such a strange man who, for some reason, gave up his life before he was forty years old. He suddenly died suddenly on the day before his fourth natal year at the age of forty-eight. His death was so sudden that even his two apprentices did not know the reason.

Having said that, the discovery of this cavity reminds me of Liu Banxian's second apprentice. Back then, when there was no geological radar, he was able to accurately locate this place and was good at digging holes in the earth. Such a master of tomb robberies is likely to be the same as Liu Banxian. The second disciple has some connection with him, and he is even himself.

This cavity is very large. From the flashlight light, it can be seen that there are many huge shadows in it. When I get closer, I find that they are natural stone pillars, like an underground forest.

Big head poked me, "Look, there is something on the pillar."

Maitreya's people also discovered it. When they shined their flashlights, they found that these pillars were not solid. There were many holes dug out in all directions, and inside were large jars covered with dust.

I took a look at Datou. He moved his mouth but did not speak. It seemed that his mouth shape was "cylinder niche".

Datou knows this aspect better and is even more professional than me. In form, this is indeed very similar to "urn burial", which is also called "urn and coffin burial". This kind of funeral custom has been formed for a long time, and can even be traced back to the Yangshao Culture period, which was around 5,000 to 6,000 years ago. In ancient times, it was basically popular near the Yellow River Basin.

As the name suggests, vat burial means placing the dead body into a pottery container for burial. Usually two large urns are joined and fastened together, and there is a small hole at the bottom of the two urns. The ancients wanted the person to die after death. Souls can come and go.

This kind of burial custom gradually began to decline after the advent of coffin burials. Until now, only one kind of person is still buried in jars after death, and that is the eminent monks of major temples who use jar burials to shape their golden bodies.

Maitreya's people spread out to illuminate, and there were many stone pillars deep in the cavity, with no end visible. I was shocked. There were at least three or four jar niches on each stone pillar. From this point of view, the number of urns and coffins was too huge. A "group of urns and coffins" was formed. I was curious about whose people were buried?

Maitreya seemed to understand, and looked back at me: "This isn't something from Japan, is it?"

I nodded, briefly told them about the vat burial, and added: "These things should have been here originally. Little Japan dug tunnels, and they happened to be dug out." After saying that, I hesitated a little, and it seemed very strange to see the situation. Like "coincidence", it seems that they dug the hole intentionally.

There were many stone pillars around. On the way forward, there were a few guys eager to open the urn. Although I knew intellectually that it was dangerous, I was also encouraged by strong curiosity in my heart. Before I went far, an opportunity appeared. before us.

A stone platform appeared in front of us, blocking our way. Several railings were manually erected around the stone platform, and some rainproof cloths were hung on them, forming a separate space.

The part of the tarpaulin facing our direction has collapsed, and now it looks more like a triangular tent. You can see that there are two layers of stone platforms inside, and there are some bottles, cans, and instruments next to it. The ground is messy and looks a bit messy. Like some kind of experimental place.

When I got closer, I was sure that it was the improvised laboratory of the little devil. I saw many broken glass test tubes on the ground, as well as a rusted microscope, scalpels, tweezers, scissors, gauze, etc. thrown aside.

Opposite is an iron box more than two meters high, with the door closed. There is a glass observation window next to the door, which is a bit like a large vacuum boiler.

At the same time, I noticed that the surface of the "boiler" was not smooth, and there were many small protruding bumps, which seemed to be caused from the inside.

The door of the "boiler" was unlocked, and someone had already used a flashlight to look in curiously. Before I could follow, I heard a few of them coming out cursing, saying that there was some excrement inside. I stood at the door. I looked inside and saw that there were indeed a lot of dark things stuck to the ground, and I couldn't tell what they were.

But I knew in my heart that it couldn't be excrement. There were plenty of places to defecate around. Japan is not that particular and even built a shared toilet here. Besides, I discovered a detail. The door lock of this "boiler" is on the outside, that is. It is said that this is more like an "observation room", where the target is put in and the door is locked from the outside for observation.
