Dinner and Deceit

Who-", she cut herself off as her jaw was left hanging. "Oh my goodness! It really isn't a dream. Where are my manners? Please come on in, we weren't I-I....wow, just wow", she tried to stop herself from blabbering so she stepped aside for Daniele to walk through.

"Welcome to our home Daniele, it's so good to finally meet you in person", Will said, making his way towards his daughter and Daniele.

They shared a firm shake and Daniele didn't look quite happy. Firstly he didn't want to get married, especially not to a girl who was stuck in a psychiatric hospital and he didn't want to lie to her or deceive her.

Daniele really was a charm a Prince charming you could say. He was a dream of every woman both young and old, his blue eyes would always work the charm but if that didn't then his amazing muscular body or perfect face would and if that still didn't then his fat bank account would.

"Thank you Will", he said firmly, trying his best not to give out everything.

"Audrey go get your sister right now", Will said with a big smile plastered on his face.

Audrey nodded and was going to head upstairs but paused on the first stair because her sister was already heading down. Audrey had helped her put on some light makeup before she headed down the stairs earlier, although Dallas refused Audrey insisted. She was now in a simple body fitted mid-thigh length royal blue dress with sparkles all around the hem, she paired it with some black see through host, a shiny stiletto and some jewelry. Her hair cascaded all the way down her mid back in shiny black waves. She gently walked downstairs with her eyes pinned to the ground, she didn't dare look up until she reached the last stair for fear of tumbling down and embarrassing herself.

It was like she was on super slow Mo, all eyes were on her when she finally looked up. Her eyes locked with Daniele's for a brief moment before her Dad spoke up.

"Wow wow, my angels both look stunning tonight", he walked closer to the stairs and held out his hands for his two girls to step down carefully.

"They really do Will", said Aurelia from the couch. She had a broad smile and she kept nodding in agreement.

"Dallas honey, do you remember this face? He's Daniele Giuseppe, your boyfriend or fiance as we'd like to put it", Will laughed out with joy.

Dallas's eyes flew back to Daniele who now had a smile on his face. She shook her head rather too quickly and disagreed with her Dad, "No I actually don't ", she said hastily.

"Of course you don't, silly me. She couldn't even remember who I was earlier so it's only natural, anyways you two had only started dating for a while and he couldn't come visit you earlier because he was out of the country, isn't that right Daniele?", her father asked with his brows arched.

Daniele was really lost, looking at how beautiful Dallas was it would be enough to make a man lost, but he was quick to recover. "Uh yes, I haven't really been around and I tried to contact you in some way that's when your Dad told me what happened to you my love", he added the last part with great difficulty.

"So you mean that you're my boyfriend?", Dallas asked Daniele then he nodded. "I'm sorry I can't really remember what it was like", she added apologetically.

"C'mon Dallas, you have to search your mind and soul. This is Daniele Giuseppe we're talking about, not your regular average guy. He's a star sis, there's no way you would have been able to forget him so quickly." Audrey's tone was airy as she spoke to her sister.

"I'm sorry but I don't, you know I just got back but I'll surely remember as time goes by", Dallas replied with a small smile.

"Okay then, who's hungry? I am though so I suggest we move this conversation to the dinning where dinner has been served, we had our cook make some Italian meals as well", Will lead them to the dinning where Daniele pulled out Dallas's seat for her before taking a seat beside her.

"Thank you", she smiled. "You don't have anything to thank me for beauty", he replied with an equal smile.

"So shall we bless the food? Audrey you pray and please don't give us one of your Instagram reels as a prayer", said Will with a warning glare which made Audrey giggle.

She blessed the food and they began to eat, Daniele was just toying with his pasta and throwing occasional glances towards Dallas.
