As I nodded my head off, I heard my teacher calling for my name loudly.
I groaned since I had to deal with this lousy human who seems to be in a pain of an ass.
I considered draining her blood as I watch the light in her eyes goes out and watch the blood runs across her neck in the noisy classroom as the students screams at the sight.
The screams would be very satisfying to hear. I wouldn't have to listen to the aggravating voice. I shook my head to rid of my morbid thoughts out of nowhere.
I raised my head as my teacher grinned at me and said something I couldn't hear.
I looked at her tiredly and asked her to repeat what she said.
She looked at me as if I was disrupting her class, then I heard her say, "You shouldn't be sleeping. Since you were sleeping, you must be confident about the test. Why don't you answer this question on the board, so I can feel assured that you are prepared for the upcoming test."
I can see the students around me that were watching the show. They are watching expectantly as the class remains silent except for the teacher's voice that I can hear in the silent room.
I can tell by the teacher's confidence that she believes I wouldn't be able to answer the question.
I got up from my seat went to the board and grabbed one of the dry erase markers as I looked at the question.
Oh, I see.
It's a simple equation problem.
I started to write the question down and solved it in ten minutes.
I put the marker down and took a few steps back as I yawned silently with my hand.
My teacher whose name I don't remember came to the board and looked at the problem.
She looked at me speechless and the students looked at her curiously since they didn't know why she looks speechless.
My teacher asked me, "How did you solve this problem? It took me about an hour and a half minutes to solve this problem. It only took you ten minutes to solve it."
I shrugged my shoulders nonchalantly as she looks at me, then said I could go back to my seat.
I went back into my seat til I waited for the bell to ring after thirty minutes.
I got up from my seat as I waited for the students to leave the room, so I could leave as well.
I looked at my schedule before going to the next class.
As the day ended, I went outside to walk to get on the bus.
That's when I got a call from my bracelet. I looked down at the bracelet as I looked around and saw no one looking at me.
That's when I realized I could only hear the bracelet. I shook my head as I didn't know how that worked.
As I clicked the bracelet and said in my head, "What?"
I heard Jonathan's voice as if he was in my ears. He told me that he had called my mother, so I should be ready for to arrive at the Elites.
I was surprised since it was only a day, but said okay before turning it off.
As I put on my earplugs and closed my eyes.
The person next to me woke me up as I saw the bus stop. I got off the bus as I walked down the street.
My stomach grumbled as I rubbed my belly. I haven't eaten in a while, so I was planning to get something to eat.
As I opened the door and saw my mom sitting on the couch. She looked excited, but I could not guess why she was excited, I acted as if I didn't know why.
"Baby doll, I need you to sit down, I have something to tell you." She said, so I went to get an apple on the kitchen counter before sitting down in the chair before her.
I asked her, "What is it? Why do you look excited?"
After taking a bite of the apple, she said, "I had a call from a school during work called the Elites saying they want you to enroll in their school. They are impressed with your grades, so they want you to attend."
I smiled in joy as I said, "Really, when do I go?"
She laughs as she says, "Baby, why didn't you tell me about your grades? I'm so excited for you. You will be going tomorrow"
I looked at her in surprise and asked, "It's tomorrow, I have to prepare my stuff."
She grinned at me and told me I needed to pack my clothes and items since I would be going to a boarding school.
Then I thought of something before looking at her and asked, "How are you going to afford it? The boarding school is expensive."
She grinned at me and told me, "The school will be paying for it since they only accept one of the best students with the highest grades."
I nodded my head and told her I was going to my room to pack some of the clothes.
She nodded her head before I went to my room.
I finished the rest of the apple before throwing it into the trashcan next to my bed.
I went into my closet and grabbed some of the clothes out of it.
I grabbed some of the old jeans, jackets, and t-shirts as I folded them on the bed. I grabbed my light-weighted black suitcase from under the bed.
Some of my clothes are old since my family lives in poverty. My mom and I had to buy cheap clothes from different stores and my mother's friend, Andy. I remember Andy used to give me and my mom some clothes on some occasions when my mom didn't have enough money.
I put all of my clothes in the suitcase before grabbing a new toothbrush and toothpaste, and all of the more stuff I'm planning to bring.
I was exhausted as I finished putting my stuff together, and then I saw it was dark outside of the windows.
I took a shower before going to bed. I closed my eyes in exhaustion and fell asleep in minutes.
