A bunch of scary looking men trembling in fear as they were shouting to forgive them was a scene that Cyril had never once in his life expected to witness.
Yet, here he was doing the same.
Cyril did not flinch from the scene in front of him. Instead, he smiled as he spoke in a calm voice, "Of course, I will forgive you. As long as you are all my customers, I wouldn't mind one bit."
~whoosh~
For some reason, a gust of wind passed by inside a den in which there was no way any wind could possibly enter.
There was silence. Pin drop silence.
Everyone looked at each other as if to check if what they heard was what he really said.
Seeing that the others had the same expressions as themselves, they understood that they did not hear incorrectly.
The brothers looked at each other with their mouths wide agape as their index fingers collectively pointed at Cyril. They were asking the same question non-verbally. "Is this man serious? He wants us to be his customers?"
How could someone - no, ANYONE - want someone who wanted to sabotage their business to be their customer? They couldn't understand this logic at all.
They are the saboteurs themselves, and yet they can't understand it. Even the doctor - who was on the sidelines - was dumbfounded.
They all had a single thought on their minds: 'This man is crazy'.
This man wanted his business to thrive so much that he would want his saboteurs to enter his business field?
While they were looking at the crazy man, the crazy man was looking at his potential customers with a calm smile latched onto his lips.
That was when everyone realized something. All this while, under every circumstance, this man did not lose his smile for a second.
Whether it was when they attacked his business, when they threatened him, when they had fainted from getting electrocuted, or when he was waiting for the doctor to treat them.
This sudden realization made everyone think this man was definitely crazy.
Crazier than the doctor there - who blatantly threatened to kill them to their faces just a minute ago.
They decided not to cross this man any longer and laughed as they nodded their heads frantically, "Ha ha. Of course. Yes. We will be your customers. No, I mean, we are already your customers. If you don't mind us coming to your place, why would we mind? After all, we can earn points by gambling at your place, right?"
Cyril continued his smile and nodded.
Everyone smiled 'brightly' as they nodded, "ha ha, right. Right. We can earn points by gambling at this brother's place. We are therefore his most regular customers from now onwards."
"Right."
"Right. Right."
"Right."
A series of 'rights' were heard from the bunch of goons.
"..." The doctor looked on at this scene as he did not know how to respond. From their words, it was very clear that they didn't even know Cyril's name until now. Yet, they became his 'most loyal and regular' customers. They did not even know what the process inside this gambling den actually was before they decided to do so.
Even though the doctor knew that he helped Cyril by scaring this bunch of goons, the idea of making them his customers was completely Cyril's idea.
There are more than ten to fifteen men here. Having them as regular customers is enough for any business to thrive while they stayed in the Ward 3.
There was a bright light of appreciation in the doctor's eyes as he looked at Cyril.
Cyril did not look at the doctor as he extended his hand towards the exit of the den as he said, "This is the way to exit. I think the Gambling Den should be opened by now. Once you leave from here, you will reach the entrance where you stood before. You can enter like everyone else from there.
"Let's restart our relationship."
As he said the last sentence, his smile widened. This smile scared all the goons, and they nodded frantically as they were scared that one-second delay and Cyril would sell them somewhere somehow.
The leader of the goons was the only one to dare to speak, "Yes, yes. Let's start our relationship and forget everything that has happened in the past."
He conveniently used the word past, which had actually happened around just an hour ago.
Cyril did not mind his wordplay and nodded along, "Yes, let's forget about the past."
After saying that, Cyril extended his hand and both the men shook their hands.
Everyone blinked their eyes.
Something just happened here, and they did not exactly understand what it was. But they had a feeling that whatever had happened here now was something very big that it would change the rest of their lives.
After all, there is no leaving the Island Prison.

Cyril was dejected that he had missed the opening of his new business, but he did not show his emotions on his face.
He brought the bunch of goons to the entrance of his Gambling Den.
The entry gate wouldn't allow everyone at a time.
It was a person-by-person basis.
When entering, they have to scan their chips and accept the Terms and Conditions. Only then would a person be allowed.
Even though the task seemed big, the time it takes would be less than two seconds.
Cyril had used his points to buy a chip scanner.
Once a person stands on a stand, it will automatically scan the chip without any need for instructions. The terms and conditions would appear in front of them while the scanning happened. Obviously, no one would actually read the long list of the Terms and Conditions. They would just scroll it to the end at once and click on the box to check it.
In two seconds, everything was done.
For the huge bunch of more than fifteen people, it took around a minute and nothing more.
