The Royal house.
The Queen's chambers.
The Duke of Normandy was standing and talking to the Queen about something.
— Your Majesty, in order not to aggravate your health, it is necessary to temporarily appoint someone who will announce your instructions.
The Queen is calm.
— I think you're right, William, I'm not getting any younger.
— So, who should they be? — asked the duke, who already knew the answer.
The Queen thought about it.
— Well, I don't think it's worth burdening Charlotte and especially Mary yet. I take it you're going to refuse anyway, so you can leave it to Edward or Richard.
The Duke grinned.
— You've always been observant and you know me well. As for Richard, he may have become more responsible abroad, but I don't think he's ready to take on such a responsibility now. Prince Edward is the only candidate.
The queen has a bigger smile.
— Well, if you think it's better that way, then so be it.
London. A dead street.
The White Dove team arrived at the place of the transaction. Beatrice, getting out of the car, asks.
— How did you find out about the contraband?
Ange is calm but serious.
— They asked the ancestors of the black lizards.
Once again, not believing, Beatrice and Chise turned to Svyat.
— Yes, yes, it was. — The saint is handed a suitcase.
Dorothy asks the kid.
— I hope you know what to do.
Glory hesitantly.
— Of course, but it wouldn't hurt to repeat it.
Dorothy sighed and was about to start explaining, but Ange intervened, who gave the key-ball to Svyat, and took the suitcase herself.
— And now everything is clear. — Glory said happily.
The team walked down the street and entered a large alley. A second later, there were five people in suits and masks. One of them had a similar suitcase, only twice as big. The man in the middle, the leader of this gang, spoke up.
— He didn't lie, the kingdom really keeps its word.
Everyone listened attentively and behaved calmly, only Beatrice showed a little anxiety.
The leader gave a sign and the man with the suitcase opened it, showing the contents. The case contained two devices similar to a key ball, but they differed in that they were larger and emitted light without switching on.
Ange also gave the signal. Svyat opened his suitcase and froze. Then he quietly called Dorothy over. She looked at the contents and her eyes bulged. Chise and Beatrice turned around, while Ange and Charlotte were still standing in front.
Dorothy went up to Ange and whispered something to her. After listening to it completely, she first looked disapprovingly at Dorothy, and looked at Svyat as if he had done something unimaginably terrible.
The man shouted.
— Well, what!? Should there be a deal?
There was only silence.
— You guys shouldn't upset serious and responsible people.
Two men pulled out pistols.
Ange hesitated, then answered.
— There must be a deal.
Chise came over and took the suitcase from Svyat. And at the same moment, she began to move towards the man walking in front of her with the same purpose. They stood opposite each other.
Ange and the gang leader gave the signal and in an instant there was an exchange of closed cases. Chise slowly walked away while the man opened the briefcase. When he saw that there was no money there, he threatened with a gun. At that moment, Chise threw a disposable Svyat lamp at him. There was a flash that blinded everyone. Taking advantage of this, the team rushed to the street, only the police blocked the way. Ange took Charlotte and Beatrice with the help of a key ball and took off.
Chise threw the suitcase at them, and she, along with the Saint and Dorothy, ran across the gang. The police were distracted by the suitcase, while the gang leader ordered "fire!". Chise and Svyat successfully deflected the bullets aimed at them. The gang got ready to go into melee, but the girls ran past them. Svyat flew into the main one, throwing him away and throwing something heavy at him, he ran away. The police switched to the gang, tying it up, but the leader, who was further away, noticed what the boy threw at him, thought for a while and quickly disappeared.
Among the police officers was Lawrence, who was examining the evidence, he saw that there were jars of honey in the suitcase.
The academy.
Charlotte's room.
Someone knocks on the door, and the princess cautiously opens it. Ange went into the room and they had a conversation with Charlotte.
— Well... So what's up with those devices? — Charlotte asked hurriedly.
Ange in a calm voice.
— They were taken to the headquarters.
— I see... — The princess sighed.
— Only here's what worries me. — Ange told.
Charlotte looked at him in surprise.
— It is not clear how the Svyat's things turned out to be in the suitcase with the money, and how the police arrived so quickly.
Charlotte is wary.
— So maybe Glory just got the suitcases mixed up?
Ange went to the window, there was a girl on the street, whom she taught to steal Ange.
The girl waved, and Ange waved back.
— I also thought about the version with Svyat, but after questioning him, he said that he was loading a suitcase with money into the car and could not call the police, because he simply does not know how.
— Well, then maybe... — Charlotte wanted to guess.
— Only someone who had access to the garage could replace the suitcases. Ange continued.
— So it was Stephen? — The princess asked warily.
Ange took out a blond hair that she had found on the money she had transferred to another suitcase. She compared it to the hair on a comb.
— Can you tell me why you did it?
Charlotte lowered her head. Ange went over to her and took her hands. And she began to speak with a smile.
— No matter what you do, I will always be there for you, and you can always rely on me.
Charlotte raised her head.
— I... I... it's Prince Richard...
The natural history room.
Dorothy was sitting on the couch, looking at a suitcase with money, while Svyat was writing something in a notebook at the table.
Dorothy dropped the conversation.
— Who changed the suitcase, and why would someone from the kingdom need strange cavorite devices? What do you think?
Without taking his eyes off the notebook, Svyat replied.
— I don't think so, I don't care.
— What do you mean, "I don't care"? Dorothy asked.
The saint leaned on the back of his chair.
— Well, look, why do I need to know who changed the suitcases and why one of the princes buys cavorite light bulbs, even if it was someone I know, I can't do anything against you spies and I'm not going to, then what's the point of straining and worrying about it.
Dorothy thought about it.
— Yes, that's our job. You know, apart from the first point, it sounded pretty wise for your age.
The saint closed his notebook and put down his pen.
— Or maybe it's just insanity, but what? According to the documents, I'm older than you.
— According to the documents, it turns out that you don't even have them. — Dorothy sighed.
Someone knocked on the door. Dorothy assumed it was one of the girls. Svyat went to open it.
— No, the knock is too intelligent.
Lawrence was standing in the doorway. Svyat greeted him and asked what had brought such a "respectable" man. Lawrence asked to go inside,Svyat agreed, and while the policeman was passing through the threshold, he threw a hammer, which closed the suitcase with the money, after which Dorothy quickly hid it.
Svyat asked.
— So what do you want?
Lawrence didn't sound too confident.
— Well, you see, I have a delicate question here.
— A-a-and?... — Svyat was waiting for an intriguing moment.
— Are you by any chance some kind of group? If so, don't think about it, I won't turn you in, I still need to keep in touch with people, and if not, I'm sorry I asked.
— Well, apart from the fact that I sell my stuff, I don't participate anywhere. — Svyat speaks with a serious face. — How's Dorothy?
— Listen, the girls are still boring, these are our recent gatherings, the only ones when they were doing at least something interesting and fun besides studying.
Lawrence was a little pleased.
— Well, then I'm sorry again that I suspected you of something and worried you.
Lawrence got up and left.
Dorothy is surprised.
— Well done, even I would not have played such a tortured face..
— I didn't play, he just pisses me off. — Svyat answered honestly, throwing the notebook on his briefcase.
An hour passed. The whole team was already in the room. Charlotte told the audience the situation with the prince.
Dorothy decided to speak first.
— So he suggested that you overthrow the queen?
Beatrice followed.
— It doesn't sound very family friendly.
Holy, having understood the meaning of the conversation.
— Wait, but what was possible?
Everyone looked at the kid with a disapproving look. Chise asked.
— What did the prince suggest specifically?
— He wants to change, in his opinion, the "outdated" system, but in order to do this, the prince said that it was necessary to remove the queen from the throne. Charlotte replied with a hint of sadness on her face.
Ange's mood got worse, but Svyat assumed.
— Was the cavorite asterisks part of this plan?
Charlotte hesitantly confirmed it.
— What do you mean? — Beatrice asked.
— So now it's clear who switched the suitcases. Glory said confidently. — and if, according to Lotte, this Redhead has serious plans, then it turns out that he ordered those bombs from the theater.
Dorothy with a grin.
— And someone said that he was not interested in espionage cases.
Glory, rocking on her chair.
— Well, what can you do if you don't want to think about it yourself.
Beatrice frowned.
— Mr. Lavigne, you shouldn't give out nicknames in public, especially to the princess, and in general your hypocrisy will get in the way of helping more.
Glory made a serious face.
— I heard your complaint about the "name change". He smiled softly and continued. — by the way, you're not the first one to call me a hypocrite, Bee.
Dorothy, get up from your chair.
— All right, kids, stop quarreling, we'll meet here in an hour and go to the royal house.
It's been half an hour. A car drove out of the garage unnoticed. Beatrice was in her room getting ready to leave. Someone sneaked up on her and turned off the speech machine. At the same moment, she was tied to the bed and locked in the room.
Walking along the corridor in the direction of the room, Chise, seeing a stranger, took out her katana and prepared for battle. Jumping on him, she swung her sword, but a hooded stranger with a revolver defended himself and knocked Chise down, knocking her out with the same pistol. After locking the Japanese woman in the pantry, he continued on his way.
The room of natural knowledge.
The saint was preparing for a sortie. There was a mysterious knock on the door. When the kid heard him, he shouted.
— Come in!
Ange came into the room with a bottle of wine. She put it on the table and offered me a drink. Svyat was taken aback by surprise, but after a moment's thought, he agreed. Ange poured the wine into the glasses. They turned around, Glory started drinking and stopped halfway. Ange didn't drink a drop, but she looked at the boy and smiled. Svyat noticed that his notebook was not in place. He laughed and said.
— You could have just asked.
Ange looked at the glass with a smile.
— It was easier for me to just take the notebook.
Svyat finished his glass and spoke in a whisper.
— And I didn't mean the notebook...
He stood up and added.
— Well, let me take my leave for this.
The boy fell to the floor like a stone, Ange dragged him to the sofa, put on a hood and went out. On the way, she met Dorothy. Ange was already preparing actions against her, but the leader of the squad passed by and said.
— Let's go get a ride.
Ange smiled and together with Dorothy they went to the garage. Stephen was awkwardly sleeping in it, and the girls walked past him, started the car, and drove away.
