A week like any other

Control. "L" and his colleagues discussed the situation with the princess. "7" told everything in detail.

— Princess Charlotte and her friends were invited to protect the heiress Mary, as she was declared the temporary face of the Kingdom.

The leader lit a cigar and asked.

— And who is included in this respectable circle of people?

"7", after reviewing the papers lying on the table, replied.

— The "white dove" consisting of agents "A", "B", and the leader "D". And also among them is a young officer Frank Lawrence.

The colonel asked in surprise.

— Wait, what about the Japanese woman and that little asshole?

"7" looked at the papers again.

— According to the information provided by Agent "A", shortly after the verbal altercation between Agent "G" and the carriage footman, they, along with recruit "C", accompanied by Lord Horikawa, went to Japan by train.

The colonel, now in a raised voice, asked again.

— That is, they just took off and left without any permission or warning!?

"7" answered in the affirmative. The leader exhaled cigarette smoke and said.

"All right, equip the White Dove with everything you need and send them to the royal house, but let them act carefully and without haste. Let them secretly comb everything from the inside. As for the fugitives, do not accept anything without instructions.

After "L" took Lawrence's case and began to examine it carefully.

Garage. Dorothy and Ange entered it after returning. They told me about the situation with the heiress. The mechanic sitting on the couch sighed and asked.

— And when do you start?

Ange replied in a monotone voice.

— A program has already been planned for the week, we start tomorrow.

Steve got up from the couch, walked over to the car and spoke.

— Okay, I'll pack up now and go to your "bird farm", otherwise I still have to report for this nightingale. And has anyone by any chance seen my key on 19?

The next day came.

Monday.

On the first day, the White Dove team accompanied the princess to Mary's presentation as the temporary face of the kingdom.

Almost all the time, Charlotte and her friends had to be close to the heiress, not leaving her side a step. Constantly looking out, our heroes were pretty exhausted on the first day.

Tuesday.

The next morning, our heroes were invited to one of the oldest theaters in London – Drury Lane. The guests were greeted in the best possible way by organizing a warm welcome. The owners of the theater were glad to see the princesses and came out themselves to escort them to the Dress Circle. The performance turned out to be a performance by a certain composer who performed both original and well-known works. Everyone listened enthusiastically, but at one point the melody of "The Nutcracker" by the famous composer began to play, and then Ange felt a little uneasy. She went out. Dorothy nodded towards Lawrence and Charlotte and followed her out.

In the hallway, Ange held her head. Dorothy asked her friend how she was feeling. The girl replied softly.

— I'm fine... I'm just a little dizzy.

Dorothy crossed her arms.

— Yeah.

Suddenly, they noticed a silhouette that flashed and immediately disappeared into the doorway. The girls exchanged glances, Dorothy rolled her eyes and the spies followed the stranger.

In the room where the door led, after looking around, they found a secret hatch. After passing through a narrow tunnel, the girls came across Billy, who was watching the princesses from afar. Ange recognized the guy, waited until Dorothy suddenly closed the view, threw a light grenade. A second later, Billy was being interrogated. But after a couple of interrogations and unsophisticated tortures, it turned out that he just worked in this theater, and watched out of his own curiosity.

After dressing up, the spies met the Princesses, who finished watching the performance. Then the owner of the theater came up to them. Charlotte, Ange and Dorothy moved aside while the man started a dialogue.

— How did you like it?

Mary replied quietly but positively. Beatrice smiled. Lawrence asked.

— But you know, I am tormented by the question, P. Why are there no people? There should be a rush at this time, I don't think you just gave up on profits.

The owner laughed.

— Yes, you see, this is exactly the problem, our theater is currently experiencing small difficulties and is not in demand like others, and therefore Mrs. Mary would help us very much in this matter.

The heiress, Beatrice and Lawrence exchanged glances. The officer asked what kind of help he was talking about. The owner began to tell me.

Wednesday

The next evening, our heroes, despite the schedule, went to the Bolshoi theater again. Only this time a lot more people knew about it, thanks to this, the hall was half filled with spectators. The princesses were looking forward to a repeat performance.

And so the presenter announced the beginning. It seemed like everything would go as well as yesterday, but something went wrong. At first, the composer played as if he had been entrusted with an instrument only yesterday, and the dancers moved like dolls. The princesses looked at it with bewilderment. Lawrence with words.

— Excuse me, I'm going out for a while. — got up and went out.

After leaving the theater, the officer took out a pack of cigarettes, took out one and tried to light it with a match. Clumsily, he dropped the lit cigarette. Sighing, Lawrence put it out with his foot and in the distance noticed a boy of about 7 years old who was trying to get through the back entrance, but he could not do it. Lawrence spoke in a serious voice.

— Wait, what are you doing?

The boy answered without turning around.

— I want to see it.

The officer asked again.

— And why from here?

Now he turned around and answered.

— So there is no money to go to such luxurious theaters. — after which he continued to try to enter again.

Lawrence looked around and said.

— Okay, let's go, we'll figure something out.

The officer and the boy entered the theater, but the cashier did not let the boy go any further. Lawrence already wanted to try to negotiate, but the boy was already convincing the employee with might and main that he was an actor who was just late and had to run to the theater in a suit. The officer quietly confirmed the boy's words and surprisingly missed them.

On the way to the gym, the officer asked about the prank, but was interested in who exactly he learned it from. The kid answered.

— My best friend has a mirror, because it never laughs when I cry.

Then Lawrence stopped the boy and took him behind the stage instead of the Dress Circle. The kid was surprised and the officer jokingly said.

— Are you ready to perform?

— But... The boy wanted to object, but Lawrence added.

— Come on, it's so boring there that you won't spoil anything, but at least we'll laugh or cry ...

the boy waited for the moment and abruptly burst onto the stage. The princesses were perplexed, but they still expected at least some kind of shake-up. And then the kid did everything possible to make the audience laugh: he mimicked the dancers, interfered with the composer, ran around the stage.

Some of those present had a smile on their face when, like princesses, only Mary was attracted by these changes. But suddenly the guards chased the boy. He began to run away, jumping over obstacles along the way. Suddenly, Lawrence joined the chase. The composer had no choice but to play cheerful music to give the audience more interest. And our team was now watching this orgy with a smile. In the end, Lawrence and the boy clumsily overpowered the guards and stood on stage to the applause of the audience. After which, the officer asked quietly.

— Where are my manners, what's your name?

The boy turned with a smile and answered.

— Charlie. What about you?

Lawrence lifted the boy onto his shoulders.

— Offi... Just Lawrence.

Thursday

On this day, our heroes visited the fair. On it, they met a lot of different tents and entertainment. Passing by a popcorn stand, Lawrence noticed two men. One of them was noticeably older than the other, and the other stood out with a green tie. The officer warned Ange and Dorothy about this. At almost the very end of the square there was a barker who eagerly enticed passers-by to look at the "invention that will change the world." The team and the princess went into a small house. In it, crowded people stood in front of a table on which lay parts from all sorts of mechanisms. The guys came closer. A man in his forties came up to the table, he was holding a wooden box in his hands, after which he put it down and began to connect it. After a while, he spoke.

— Ladies and gentlemen, I am ready to present to you an invention that will change the world... — the scientist turned several switches and noises were heard from the box.

After setting up the device, the man said.

— Meet the radio!

After a moment, the invention began to produce voices in another language.

— For God's sake, how long can you mess with this infection? Volodya, bring another glass. — after which, a crackling sound came from the box. — Ah..! You're such a fool, Volodya, bring a bandage!

Laughter rang out from the crowd, it seemed only our team guessed what was happening on the other side. The scientist himself showed interest in what was happening and asked the audience to be silent. The radio continued to work.

— Hey, did you hear that? It's working, it's working! Volodya, bring the check, this whore is working.

Then, instead of voices, only joyful screams could be heard. The scientist turned the switch, which caused the device to go silent. Half of the people came out of the house, while the other stood and discussed what they had heard among themselves. Our team was also about to leave, but Beatrice, interested, approached the scientist, who was zealously writing something down. When the man saw the girl, he asked if she was interested in watching the invention work. Beatrice answered in the affirmative, then the scientist put down the notebook and began to talk about the principle of operation of the device. They discussed it for at least half an hour. And then the man asked.

— Let's discuss your idea in a more appropriate place, what's your name?

— Beatrice, and this is Princess Charlotte and heiress Mary. The girl pointed to suitable friends.

— Nice to meet you, and I'm Nikola...

Friday

The weather was cloudy in the morning and it was almost raining. This time, the guys followed the heiress to the football stadium. Everyone except Ange was at this kind of entertainment for the first time. The match has started. The audience was rooting hard for their teams. Moreover, the local team hosted a team whose composition consisted of people from different countries.

The game was intense. The guests may have seemed stronger in spirit and pace, but the hosts stood out for their cohesion and more teamwork. The match couldn't help but captivate, because it seemed that the ball could hit the goal of each of the teams every minute.

After a while, the match was nearing completion. The hosts confidently led the score as soon as a conflict broke out between the players and the referee on the bench. The game is over, but the discontent of the players is not. And then the enraged players, gesturing, began to leave the stadium through the exit, which our team was approaching, and after that Mary got into a hot hand and now criticism has fallen on her. Charlotte stood in front of her and tried to defend the heiress, but insults were showered on her in another language. Lawrence tried to defuse the situation by calmly trying to explain that they were dealing with princesses. And suddenly the fist of one of the football players abruptly went through the officer's face, it began to reach a mass brawl and Ange wanted to get a key ball, but a guy ran up to them, who in another language calmed the athletes by sending them to the podium. Then he helped Lawrence up and spoke.

— I'm sorry if something is wrong, these guys are kind, just emotional sometimes.

Lawrence, covering his bloody nose, muttered.

— I noticed, although I'm not used to it.

Charlotte thanked the guy with a smile and asked.

— And how do you know them?

The guy laughed.

— Yes, I work as a journalist, I came with them as an interpreter, and my name is Mario. — and with a smile, he extended his hand to Lawrence, the officer, realizing how unhygienic and impolite it would be, holds out his fist.

Saturday

Our tired heroes accompanied the heiress to the last event this week – the Royal Elfrida Infirmary. Nothing significant happened in it, except that the heiress looked at the patients with her own eyes. And passing by one of the wards, Ange and Beatrice looked at one of the beds with fascination.

In the evening, in Mary's chambers. The heiress had a warm conversation with Charlotte, thanking her and her friends for these days. The princess left the room and soon Miss Peebles entered, whom Mary greeted coldly.

At that time, Ange was alone in the room reading an interesting book. But when the door began to open, the girl quickly hid it, but due to an unsuccessful choice of shelter, while Charlotte entered, the book fell face up. The princess asked.

— Am I interrupting?

Ange carefully picked up the book and answered in a worried voice.

- no. I was just reading.

The princess looked at the cover on which it was written "Tales of the Gorshok and Knyazz" and, surprised, wanted to say something, but Ange immediately interrupted her.

— It's not my fault that this "Firefly" does not know how to pack things.

The Princess smiled. And the girl continued.

— Yes, Lawrence is certainly not bad either, but... Lawrence's

voice came from the hallway, walking with Dorothy and Beatrice. — but he's completely different.

Charlotte took Ange's hands and said.

— Changes and loss of loved ones are difficult, aren't they? Ange raised her head. — but in the end they are not lost forever, even if you meet them, maybe even with another person. Now come on, we have more things to do.

They left the room and headed for the meeting place. When they arrived, they saw Beatrice and Dorothy trying to wake Lawrence, who was already sleeping, with a bottle in his hands. Ange sighs.

— But sometimes there are those who will never change.
