Nightmare

Abby gently guided Remo into their bedroom, his exhaustion evident in the heavy bags under his eyes and the way his shoulders drooped with weariness. Since her admission to the hospital, he hadn't slept properly, his mind consumed with worry and fear. Now that they were back home, Abby was determined to help him find some much-needed rest.

She patted her side of the bed, inviting Remo to join her. "Come on, love. Let's get some sleep," she murmured softly, her voice a soothing melody in the quiet room.

Remo hesitated, his eyes still haunted by the events of the past few days. "I don't know if I can," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.

Abby reached out, gently taking his hand in hers. "I understand, but you need to rest. We're safe here, together," she reassured him, her gaze filled with warmth and understanding.
