Through a man’s heart

Abby descended the stairs to find Sophia waiting for her in the living room, her warm smile a stark contrast to Abby's inner turmoil. "Hey, how are you feeling?" Sophia asked, her concern evident in her voice.

Abby forced a small smile, grateful for Sophia's presence. "I'm hanging in there," she replied, her voice tinged with a hint of exhaustion.

Sophia nodded understandingly. "Well, how about we go out for some coffee? A change of scenery might do you good," she suggested, her eyes bright with enthusiasm.

Abby hesitated for a moment, considering Sophia's offer. The idea of stepping outside, even just for a little while, seemed daunting. But she knew that she couldn't stay cooped up in the house forever, drowning in her own thoughts.

"Okay, coffee sounds good," Abby agreed.
