Talk to him

Abby and the man turned to see Remo approaching. The smile faded from Abby's face, replaced by a look of shock and confusion. The man stepped protectively in front of her, his eyes narrowing at Remo.

"Who the hell are you?" the man demanded.

Remo ignored him, his focus entirely on Abby. "Abby, we need to talk. Please, just give me a minute."

Abby shook her head in disbelief. "Remo, what are you doing here?"

"I came to see you. I need to explain—"

"You've explained enough!" Abby interrupted, her voice cold and distant. "You told me the truth, Remo. You made your choice."

The man moved closer to Abby, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. The sight only fueled Remo's anger. "Get away from her," Remo snarled. "This is between me and Abby."

The man didn't budge. "She doesn't want to talk to you. Leave before I call the police."

"Call the police?" Remo laughed bitterly. "You have no idea who you're dealing with."
