Tempering the Sword

The time it took for the lightning to brew wasn't short. Knowing that escape was futile, Blaze Dragonhorse made a determined decision. It opened its mouth and instantly spewed countless flames, creating walls of fire beneath it.

Its body twisted, and its front claws patted its own back.

Zhao Shisan, on Blaze Dragonhorse's back, was staring at the location where the lightning was brewing. Suddenly, she saw the dragonhorse's movements and became somewhat puzzled.

Afterwards, the dragonhorse patted twice more, and Ye Xiaowei could even feel a sense of urgency from the dragonhorse.

"Is it suggesting for us to step back?" Ye Xiaowei tentatively said.

Blaze Dragonhorse's large head nodded repeatedly, affirming Ye Xiaowei's guess.

"No," Zhao Shisan decisively refused. "Coincidentally, I also want to test the power of this lightning."

Ye Xiaowei casually smiled, finding nothing strange about Zhao Shisan's words. It would be odd if the girl had hesitated.
