Lucas did not return to the Traxis residence immediately. Instead, he had arranged a meeting with Lord Artan in the man's technology development building.

Their conversation would be about an important agreement: the Moon Palace was willing to fund research into technology that could be developed and distributed on a massive scale, no longer limited to the elite.

While waiting for Lord Artan's arrival, Lucas was in one of the rooms of the building. The room was not too large, there was just a long table with two chairs facing each other, quite far apart. On one side was a large glass window that allowed him to see the scattering of stars in the Illois sky. With a simple touch on the panel, the window could be opened and closed, a sophisticated technology that seemed to make Lucas smile a little.

"Technology makes everything easier," Lucas muttered with a chuckle.
