Secret behind Chang Xin

Krish opened his mouth to say, "N-"

"Yes!" Chang Xin admitted it firmly.

Mr. Zang and Krish became speechless, looking at the spirited Chang Xin.

Parents tenseness boiled along with their shock.

"Who are you? Ask your parents to come here!" That rich woman spoke with hegemony.

"It was your son-"

As Chang Xin repeated the same sentence, one of the women standing behind that rich woman whispered something in her ear and pulled a questionable expression on Chang Xin, Krish, and Mr. Zang.

"Oh..." That rich woman gave a scornful stare again, as did others. "Low-class girl?" she dictated disdainfully, smirking at her suddenly withered face.

"Miss!" Krish and Mr. Zang interrupted, snatching that woman's glance. Krish tried to enunciate the situation calmly: "This is not about wealth and the poor. It's about-"

Liu Yifei and other teachers entered, seeing them arguing.

"So what? If I'm poor?" Chang Xin raised her voice.

"Look at this mannerless, low-class girl!" That woman dictated, giving a chloric expression. Not to delay, she slapped Chang Xin and seethed, "Watch your tone, dirty girl!"

Instantly, every staff member rushed in front of that rich woman, who was splitting a tantrum breathlessly at Chang Xin as others glazed at Chang Xin for her rude behaviour.

On the other side, Krish was frozen, seeing Chang Xin looking at the ground and desperately placing a palm against her cheek. A snivel he heard caused him to be deaf to the rustling of those parents and teachers' war. Within a second, he witnessed a drop of tears dripping down on the floor from her long, dark eyelashes.

That's choked him in offence. She walked away before the second drop. Krish appeared to be speechless, and his gaze fixed on the staff room door even after she left as Liu Yifei's declaration jogged his mind: "She will be offended if anyone mentions her status. She dropped loving Geng Xi because his mother offended her by noting her poor financial background."

That sentence reverberated inside his head continuously.

"She will be offended."

"She will be offended."

"Because of her poor financial background."

Those words faded, and the rich woman's vulgar talk hit his ear. He folded his tension into his fist, closed his eyes, and clicked his tongue.

"Shut up!" Krish yelled at her and declared in a vehement tone, "Your son is the culprit here. He took a video of his classmate nude and threatened her to bring money for him. How about I complain to your son at the police station? Hmm?"

Everyone was stunned to see his uncontrollable wrath. Liu Yifei was not exceptional in that because it was her first time seeing him like this.

"Let's complain! Come on. I have evidence on my phone. The victim already told me everything!" Krish proclaimed in a firm tone, glaring at that rich woman without even taking his eyes off of her, despite her looking away in dread.

"Our boys are not like that," one of the women dictated in a lower voice. But when Krish rolled his irk-filled Irish to her, she immediately pulled down her sight.

"Right! My son stopped asking for money from me recently but stayed all night outside," one of the women mumbled, feeling guilty.

That rich woman heard it and realised his son did that too.

"Oh, sorry, Mr. Krish." The other two women apologised, keeping a polite tone. Yet Krish didn't appear to move his furious stare off of that first woman, who scolded Chang Xin heartlessly.

That woman swallowed her guilt mixed with fear and apologised, "My apology, Mr. Krish!"

"You should say this to my student who just got hurt with your poisonous tongue!" Krish declared clearly and toned vehemently, which was enough to scare them.

"I will!" She bowed.

Krish instantly left the staff room, leaving Liu Yifei speechless and lost in thought with his unfamiliar attitude.

Krish ran along the verandah, searching for Chang Xin, as some words from the principal jogged his mind.

The incident of yesterday evening at the principal office.

"It was a secret, Mr. Krish." The principal hesitated.

"It's okay to tell me, sir. Without knowing about her, how can I discipline her?" Krish talked nicely about picking out the secret.

Overcoming the trust issue, the principal started to unravel the secret: "Me and my wife were worried and even about to give up our lives when this school didn't have enough students. We did even receive notice of disqualification from the academy for that. They sent us notice to close the institute within a month and asked us to transfer the rest of the students to another school.

"When we were about to give the signed paper to the government, she and her father appeared like angels in front of our school gate. That silly girl," the principal couldn't help but smile delightfully before continuing, "She was adamant to her father to study at this school. She was adamant even after I informed them about what was about to happen to this school.

"But her father said something to me since he couldn't stop his adamant child."

"What was that?" Krish asked curiously.

"He said, 'Just help me to admit my child; I will help you to increase students' strength'"

"How can he? Haven't you tried already?" Queried Krish.

"I did, but it was not as effective as Chang Xin and her father did. I don't know how it happened, but meeting an adamant girl, Chang Xin, was my biggest festive day. This is how I and my wife love Chang Xin, no matter what. She saved our lives."

Hearing his words, Krish appeared to be a little muffled, but now. Right now. He was running upstairs to the rooftop with a concerned and worried face, searching for Chang Xin seriously.

The principal dictation reverberated in his head: "She is not what she shows us. If you want to know more about her, ask Mr. Zang or her friend named Fanqia. They will tell you about Chang Xi's untold and warm side."

Edgy Krish Bang opened the rooftop door, and his fluttering eyes found Chang Xi sitting on the bench alone under the screeching sun.
