The next week, on Wednesday, Krish entered the classroom.
Chang Xin stared at him, carrying spiteful energy instead of greeting him along with the students.
After students were settled in their seats, Krish appeared to have come up with a mystery-filled plan that was visible through his eyes, which he glimpsed once at Chang Xin. He announced, "Today, we are going to play."
"Inside?" One of the back bench students asked.
"Outside," Krish smiled, causing students to scream with joy. Out of joyous expression, he spotted a scowl on Chang Xin's face.
Thereafter, they gathered in the playground.
"Split into teams with two people in one team," Krish instructed as Fanqia and Suillin came with skipping rope.
"Team with two people?" Fanqia questioned.
"Yes, one member for jump and another one for string."
"Girls and boys?" A boy from the back line exclaimed.
"Hmm," Krish nodded, glimpsing Chang Xin with a tinge of cunning.
Once Fanqia and Suillin provided skipping rope to all the students, they stood straight to each other and gave a bizarre look at each other.
"Are we the pair?" A disgust-tinged shout came from them at the same time, looking at Krish.
Krish nodded. "Yes,"
"Listen, I will price the winner, and the pass point is 30 skips," Krish announced.
"I don't need it!"
Chang Xin struck the brassiness within a minute and walked off Geng Xi.
Krish gripped her arm and pulled back to her position before she passed Geng Xi fully. "You belong to this class. So stay!"
She then stood with slackened shoulders. Her appearance expressed that she had no interest in playing with Geng Xi. That crestfallen Geng Xi a little.
"Let's begin!" Krish started the game by giving a clap sign.
Everyone started to skip the rope except Chang Xin, who just stood like a stone without even responding to the coming rope that Geng Xi skipped for her.
"I'm out!" Chang Xi proclaimed, coming and standing next to him, leaving Geng Xi vexed. Krish couldn't help but spell out a helpless sigh.
Thereafter, not knowing what to do, Geng Xi also came to Krish's side to stand and watch other students play.
Luckily, no one achieved even 20 skips. So, that successfully failed to calculate the price and brought good fortune to Krish's stomach.
"Let's go to another game!" Krish notified and brought back happiness to long-faced students.
"The next game is the relay race."
Students were already teamed up with four members.
Krish dragged Chang Xin, who was deliberately sneaking to the next line, to avoid Geng Xi. "Stay in your place!" Krish warned her, putting her stand in her place.
"Sir, where is the baton?" The third team member raised his hand.
"You guys aren't going to use the baton," Krish said, a confounded look occupied at each other's faces.
"Without baton? How are we going to play this?" Geng Xi asked.
"Not with a baton but a hug,"
"Hug?" Fanqia was startled.
Chang Xin's wide, shocked eyes meet Krish's quiet eyes. "Why hug?" An apprehensive, shaded voice spilled through her lips as she glimpsed the person, Geng Xi, who was her passer.
Fanqia also gave a disgusted look directly at Suillin, who had been doing the same since hearing the word 'Hug'.
Krish smiled once after scanning the rely line, which had only one team that was uncomfortable with his rules.
"No one is allowed to step out of the line," Krish warned.
"Sure, sir!" the other three teams cheerfully responded since they had their crush in the spot of a passing hug.
"Let's be-"
"No!"
Unfortunately, this time, disagreement came from Fanqia. That surprised Krish.
"Why? Do you feel uncomfortable with Suillin?"
"Yes!" She replied at light speed.
Hearing her, he seemed to take her words into concern. He looked at the second person, Geng Xi, and the first person, Chang Xin.
"One sec." He paused his thoughts and looked at Geng Xi. Thereafter, he narrowed his eyes at Fanqia and asked, "Are you okay with Geng Xi but not okay with Suillin?"
Everyone sent a suspicious stare that immediately caused her to stutter with the words, "N-no. Not like T-that. I don't mean it." Whirling out a helpless sigh once she spotted everyone's subtle, narrowed eyes pointing towards her, she responded, "Let it be; I will stay in this place."
Krish smiled slightly before starting the game.
GET!
SET!
READY!
GO!
He shot the gun into the air.
The first person from each line started to run immediately, except Chang Xin.
"Chang Xin! What are you doing? The race started already!"
Geng Xi shouted as Chang Xin stared at Krish with raging eyes.
"I'm not going to play this! Let our team be a loser." Chang Xin said, leaving the ground.
"Thank God!" Fanqia and Suillin breathed out a cosy sigh, while, on the other side, Geng Xi became crestfallen.
