The pinks lady's name

Abe paid the driver and turned around to take his seat.

At first he thought the bus was filled up and he was going to stand, but he walked all the way to the back of the bus, scanning for an empty seat.

He finally found one, but he wished he hadn't.

He looked at the person he would be taking a seat with and broke into cold sweat.

He really wished he had insisted he had taken a cab when Angel suggested she walk with him to the bus station.

The person on the seat was not a demon nor an abomination in one of his nightmares appearing in reality, it was none other than the pink lady.

She was wearing a pink crop top with a black leather jacket, on a black ripped jeans and a black boot with a pink lace.

She had her blonde hair down, and right at the front of her hair was a cute pink hair clip.

Abe wasn't really in the mood to admire her beauty, he wanted to get away from her as fast as he could.

She was currently scrolling through her phone not paying any attention to anything else.

Abe prayed silently in his heart that she would never look up until he found a way to escape from the bus.

He turned around silently and prepared to tiptoe to the front.

He would have been successful if the old woman at the front hadn't coughed, catching the pink lady's attention as she looked up from the screen of her phone.

At first she looked to the front, seeing it was just an old woman coughing, she turned back to her screen.

Abe breathed a sigh of relief, he was glued to a spot, striking an awkward pose.

He continued his almost successful escape mission.

He was halfway to the front when he heard the pink lady's voice from his back.

“Hey!! It's you." She said

F–k!!!

He was really screwed.

She even recognized his back view, that's how much she had his image integrated in her memory.

Abe took a sharp breath, trying his best not to cry or fall on his knees and start begging.

He sighed in defeat as he turned around slowly, his cloth was almost drenched in sweat even though the bus A/C works just fine.

“Hi." Abe said, chuckling nervously

“You're the neighbor." She said, shutting her phone off.

“Yes I am the neighbor." Abe replied tensed

‘God please make her forget, I pray. Thank you.’ Abe thought in his mind, he hoped the fact that he attended church service today made his prayer answered. He really hoped so.

“Come take a seat, no one is here." The pink lady said as she patted the empty seat next to her

“Thank you." Abe said as he sat on the same seat he was trying to run from.

“Seems she has forgotten about it." Abe thought.

" Are you heading home?” Her voice snapped Abe out of his thoughts

“Uhn? Y..yes."

“Relax, you don't need to be so tense, we're just having a conversation." She chuckled at Abe's reaction

" Yeah.” Abe finds it hard to be calm, how could he?

He spied on her when she was m—--bating, and at the end she waved at him.

Now she's asking him not to be tense? She's not even bringing it up, and that's why Abe is tense.

He was sweating from his palms, occasionally wiping them on his trousers.

“I'm Jemina by the way." She introduced herself as she stretched her hand for a handshake, catching Abe off guard.

“Yes I..i’m Abe.” Abe wiped his sweaty palm on his trousers before shaking her hand briefly.

" You look handsome up close.” She checked him out.

" Thanks.” Abe replied, trying hard not to make eye contact with her.

“ I like your top." Abe complimented

" Yeah, they really hug my small perky br—ts." She replied

“No t..th..that's not what I mean, I was act…”

Jemina’s laughter cut off Abe's explanation.

" I'm just kidding, relax.”

" We should hang out sometimes.” She said

Abe didn't know how to reply, was she messing with him again? Or was she being serious?

“Can I get your number?" She said, handing her phone over to Abe

“I'll call you, so make sure you pick up." She said with a smile.

The bus soon reached the bus stop at Anderson streets, Abe waited on the bus while Jemina got off.

“Aren't you coming?" She asked

“I just remembered that I have an errand to run." Abe replied

“Okay. Bye then." She said as she turned around, walking off.

Immediately she got out, before the door of the bus closed, Abe stood up to also walk out.

He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw her climbing up her front porch to enter her house.

He just dodged a bullet.
