Abandoned by his grieving father who unjustly blames him for their mother's death, a young boy finds refuge in the unwavering love of his sister. Despite the shadows of guilt looming over him, she becomes his anchor, urging him to resist the label of a monster.

Just like a dream

It was a short message, but to Abe it was like a million words. 


" Hope you had fun today?" The reply came fast, as usual.


"Yeah you could put it like that." Abe tapped on the send button.


"Ohhh okay, please tell me about it." Abe replied with a sigh.


He knew fully well that even if he didn't ask about how her day went, she'd still tell him about it.


So why not indulge her, and pretend that he cares? At Least that would be better.


Jemina rambled on and on about her day and how fun it was, with other female stuff that Abe didn't understand and didn't care about.


He just couldn't wait for her to send him the night-ending 'Goodnight' message.


He was going to sleep early today, he felt tired for an unknown reason but first he had to deal with Jemina's text.
