"Well… what do you think?" Seeing that Swaine seemed to be swayed, Billy pushed the question forward.

"What I think is that… I suppose it's worth a shot." Swaine turned to Billy. "But aren't you not allowed to take any form of performance-enhancers competitively? You'd be barred from entry or disqualified entirely."

"Ugh… But it can at least be a backup plan for me?"

"Even if you still wanted to carry through with it, my family would never allow it."

"…?" Randolph looked at the two in confusion.

"Ah. See, Billy competes in bodybuilding competitively. He's not very far in, so he doesn't have a say in where he wants to go because he's sponsored by my family." A proud smirk came across Swaine's face as he explained the situation to Randolph.

No wonder he was so interested at first.

"You remember that old man from before? My butler? I'm sure you saw what he did. He's been on that stuff longer than I have, and he's that old."
