Simple Briefing

The situation led to a stalemate as the men froze under Randolph's threat, but Josh spoke up before he could say anything.

"A-alright, let's all calm down…"

But the moment he spoke up, the rest of the three shuffled behind him, pushing him forward to talk to Randolph.

"F-firstly…" An audible gulp sounded out as the homeless man swallowed. "What exactly happened to him? What did you do?"

"There's no point in you knowing anything about it. Just know that if you run, you'll end up the same way as him." As Randolph spoke, he tucked the pistol back into his shirt.

But the men, under the threat of what they couldn't understand, didn't dare leave the alleyway.

Josh's eyes darted to the shrivelled up corpse on the pavement as a bead of sweat formed on his brow.

"All that you really need to know is that you're under my control, and you have to do what I say. Understood?"
