Part 15 - Return

I watched the TV and saw peacebreaker kill Waspsage. "Great. He's back and got fire." I groaned annoyedly and threw my head back. Jade was next to me. She sighed and shook her head in disbelief. She had almost vomited when Waspsages head got crushed.

I gave her the remote and sighed. "I need to make a call and take care of the fucker." I explained and got my phone.

"0398-7" I said into the phone.

"Meeting. As soon as possible. Don't include prisoners."

"Hello Ratel. Is it 13.00 then. New place. Sending address."

"Good." I replied and hung up. I went to Jade and kissed her cheek. "I will see you later. Stay safe."

"You too Ratel."

"I will." I bluntly replied and took the keys from the cabinet and went to drive off to meet Fusion. I soon arrived at the place and sighed. I got off my bike and looked where a place for a meeting was. I entered one of the many abandoned containers. I found two chairs and Fusion.

The 200 cm tall male looked at me as I entered. He wore the gasmask he had stolen from his subordinate and wore a suit that covered the rest of his muscular body. It was gloveless and not skintight and resembled more of a buisnesssuit than a costume of a hero or villain for that matter. But it wasn't cloth only. Highly likely a special material that helped him in missions.

I looked at Fusion. "Peacebreaker." I threw the word into the meeting and leaned on a wall, not bothering to take a seat. I had my power active.

"Know where he is. Drone. Always goes to the ruin where people are told to stay away from."

"Good. Let's beat the fuckers ass. We need the ACS. For World ending scenarios. For example, the Leviathan. Or the few shoggots who are still alive."

"Yes Ratel. Let's go."

"Lead the way. And until we both are far away again; we have a truce." I said and looked at him. He gave a nod and we left the container. Savethal stood outside. "Fuck of Save. We are going after Peacebreaker." I tried to push past the woman only for her to grab my shirt. "Truce for now." Fusion stated bluntly and Save glared at me.

"I am doing what I feel is necessary. If you want to fight me over it go ahead. I just doubt you will survive. I won't hold my punches or go against my ideals anymore. This whole place has gone to shit and I'm the only one who seems to wants to do anything against it." I stated and looked at Save, who let go and looked at me in shock. I barely had talked back to her at all, so this came off very odd. I got on my bike and started it up.

Fusion sat on his and we drove off.

I was basically driving next to him, just a second in-between us as we drove. We soon got off and parked and Fusion grabbed me with one arm holding me like a bag without handles under his arm. He grew wings and jumped into the air and flew to the place and I was flung into the ruin of the castle. "Motherfu-"I yelled and impacted with the wall. I luckily slammed through it somehow.

I sniffed and smelled a faint stench of fear in the basement. I started to head down; claws ready to swing around. Then the drone stood in front of me and hit me. I was barely able to block. The drone was about to pummel me when Fusion jumped in. He seemed more monster than man. His hands were scales and fingers sharp fully covered with them. His face was distorting and forming over the mask. "Ooo! Ael! Ooo!" He yelled and I started to run a spiral staircase into a lab that looked highly modern. The elderly man looked at me and dropped the lab coat. He took a syringe and injected himself with the inners. "Drone to autopilot." Then the air got tense.

My hairs stood on edge and I felt the urge to fight the man in front of me.

I remembered the face but couldn't put a name to it. "Let's see what Ratel can do." He barked eith a laugh. I would end it here for good and not for the ACS, already knowing they would twist it that way. Rhe man injected himself with a red liquid.

The man's body twitched and fell over. He started to become more dinosaur like. Probably a velociraptor. I don't know my dinosaurs.

I laughed. "That's it? Just a small beastifying process?"

"It's more than that!" He said and the claw on the feet swung at me. I went to being my arm up to bock the swipe with my fur.

The drone pummeled onto Fusion, who turned more and more into a giant reptile. His stomach was hard as diamond as he took the hits like they were nothing. Fire hit his body. "Makovchoffs law." He said bluntly and laughed. "What you have can't hurt you." He said and his claws suddenly started to glow blue. A technology nullification power. The drone started to reach into its back and take nanobots to flung at him, trying to stay away. The drone blocked the fingers successfully and went to attack again. Fusion retaliated. He knew he was just buying time for Ratel. "Come on. Don't you want to kill Fusion?!" He asked mockingly. He was starting to get cocky as he threw his hand through the drones head, causing it to explode in a splatter of gray and black. The two kept fighting a hard battle, yet Fusions head now was more catlike and his arms line a Comodo dragons. He had wings of a firefly that poked out of the back of his suit. It was a stretchy fabric meaning he didn't ruin it when he fought like this.
