"Cyborg." Wonder Woman turned her gaze to Cyborg and said, "Can you hack into the spaceship and get the blueprints?"
Cyborg shook his head and said, "Brainiac has a very strong control over the spaceship. It's quite difficult to get any information through simple electronic intrusions unless we find the right interface. Moreover, the spaceship might not even store the blueprints internally. I think the possibility is low."
"Then how do we find the right interface? Without the blueprints, we can't safely operate on the spaceship. If we can't find an interface, getting the blueprints would require a secure interface. Isn't this contradictory?" Wonder Woman sighed and looked at Superman, saying, "If Batman were here, he might have a solution, but unfortunately, he doesn't want to help us."
"We have another Batman here." Superman looked at Bruce and said, "Do you have any good ideas, Batman?"
Bruce rubbed his chin, thought seriously, and then said, "Brainiac is a super artificial intelligence, and we are carbon-based life forms. It's hard to compete with him in electronic information. If we have to confront him in this regard, it would be like using our weaknesses against his strengths."
"So what do you think we should do?" Wonder Woman asked.
"We need to consider what advantages we have compared to Brainiac." Bruce continued with a thoughtful look, "Actually, when we look at it comprehensively, we can't match this artificial intelligence in any aspect, be it technology, form of life, or intelligence."
"You're too modest," Wonder Woman said. "The Batman of our universe always says he's the only one who can match Brainiac's intelligence."
"If, theoretically, we must pick someone among us who could compare to Brainiac in terms of intelligence, I think it might be me," Bruce expressed his caution and said, "However, in terms of pure logic operations, there's no way someone can surpass this artificial intelligence. We must recognize this point."
Wonder Woman nodded and said, "That's right, this is why we haven't made much progress for a long time. Although we're eager to counter him, the gap is too large. Perhaps only some overly arrogant people would think they can confront him head-on."
"But Brainiac isn't without weaknesses," Diana suddenly said. "His weakness is his motive for invading Earth."
Wonder Woman frowned deeply. She looked at the other universe's version of herself and said, "You might as well be more explicit. Like the Batman from your universe. We don't have time to waste on guessing each other's thoughts."
"I understand what Diana means, too." Clark turned to glance at Diana, nodded to show his understanding, and said, "Brainiac is invading Earth because he wants to make Earth his collection. You mentioned he has already collected a few cities, so if we make a move on the city he plans to collect next..."
Wonder Woman suddenly looked enlightened. She said, "Couldn't we easily sneak onto the spaceship this way?"
"That's right. However, there's an issue here, which is what kind of technology Brainiac uses in the collection bottles for the cities. If we can't break through the bottles, it might be all in vain."
"We have some footage of him tampering with Earth cities," Superman said, "If you can find a way to break through the bottles from it, that would be great."
"I can take a look," Bruce said, "but I can't guarantee that I can develop the technology just from some footage. As I mentioned, we're different forms of life from Brainiac. What seems simple to him could be an insurmountable technological barrier for us."
"You're too modest," Wonder Woman laughed and praised, "In human terms, you're a true gentleman."
"Thank you, ma'am. I'm just speaking frankly," Bruce also smiled and said, "I don't know about your universe, but in ours, we prefer teamwork. Everyone has their role, and no one controls anyone else. The team members are equals, and everything is discussed together."
"That team atmosphere is great," Wonder Woman said, "That's how superheroes should be, don't you think, Clark?"
Superman remained composed and said, "We believe his next target is still likely to be a city on the East Coast of the United States. Perhaps Miami or Boston. We're more inclined towards Boston."
"I think we could split into two teams," Diana suggested again. "Those skilled in technology could stay and see if they can find any clues to break Brainiac's technology from the previous footage, while others could go into the city and see where they can intervene."
"Splitting up may not be a good idea," Wonder Woman countered, "I agree more with Bruce's view; we should be more united."
"If that's your opinion, I have no objections," Diana spread her hands and said, "After all, this is your universe, so we'll listen to you."
"Let's do it this way," Superman said, "Clark, Diana, and I will go to the East Coast. The others stay to help Batman decipher the footage. Cyborg, keep an eye on the base while I'm away."
Cyborg nodded. Superman looked at Wonder Woman.
"I think one of you should stay," Bruce spoke up, "Don't forget, there's more than one Batman in this base. If that one wants to cause trouble, it would be very difficult for us, as outsiders, to handle it. Better let Hal go with you, and one of you stay here for precaution."
Wonder Woman immediately became alert. She looked at Superman and said, "Indeed. If Batman doesn't want to help us, so be it, but if he truly wants to sabotage our plans, it's difficult for people from other universes to guard against him. I need to stay and keep an eye on him."
Superman clearly disagreed, because if both he and Clark went with Diana, it would be two against one; but if the other universe's Clark and Hal joined him, it would be one against two, an unfavorable situation for him.
Though he had no plans to do anything during the trip, he remained wary.
But Superman wasn't comfortable leaving Wonder Woman with the other universe's two people on the East Coast either, as he wasn't entirely unaware of her foolishness.
The best scenario now would be for him to go to the East Coast, with Wonder Woman staying. However, he wasn't entirely at ease leaving her alone either.
Superman can also bring one more local person over, but most of these locals have become followers of Batman. Taking them over would still leave him isolated and helpless.
If he went with Wonder Woman, he was indeed worried that Batman might take this opportunity to persuade the outsiders. That would be even more troublesome.
He somewhat regretted agreeing to the plan to divide forces. Because there are too few people he can completely trust and too many he needs to guard against. He and Wonder Woman can't split themselves into four. There are too many supporters and outsiders of Batman.
"I'll go with Robin." Superman looked at Damian. Although he was Batman's son, he had already broken with him, so he should be reliable in terms of allegiance.
"Then we'll send Clark and Hal from our side." Bruce nodded and said, "The rest will stay here."
"Why not Diana?" Superman asked.
Before Bruce could answer, Wonder Woman interrupted, "We don't have time to waste on such matters. Brainiac won't wait long. Let's get ready to depart."
Clark gave Bruce an obscure look. Bruce expressionlessly glanced at Diana, and Diana looked at him. The three exchanged opinions in silence.
Their non-verbal communication didn't catch anyone's attention, because this wasn't the usual communication method of the Justice League. Typically, if Batman wanted them to know something, he would make it very clear; if he didn't, he wouldn't give away even a hint.
This made it so that no one present could see what Bruce and the others were plotting. Only Batman, who was monitoring the scene, noticed that they had an agenda.
But Batman had no idea what exactly they intended to do. Despite his boldest speculations, he couldn't figure out the logic of these madmen.
Oliver gave Bruce a look, and the two left the conference room, walking along the hallway to the window. Oliver whispered, "Well?"
"Actually, most of them are not to be worried about. But there is one troublesome individual, and that's the Wonder Woman of this universe."
"I noticed. Otherwise, you wouldn't have forced her to stay, leaving her isolated."
"This is just the beginning," Bruce said. "Next, cooperate with my actions. It's better to solve the trouble sooner."
Wonder Woman had no idea she had already stepped into a trap. She folded her arms and went to the window of the conference room, looking at Diana and Clark who were talking.
"Hello, there." Wonder Woman nodded and said.
"Hello, ma'am," Clark said. "We were just discussing the latest battle meeting. Do you have any insights?"
"Not much, I'm just a bit curious about your universe. After all, Superman and Batman have been there, but I haven't. What's your universe like?"
"It's quite ordinary. Before Brainiac arrived, there wasn't any major trouble," Clark chuckled.
"The Batman and Superman in your universe—do they have similar experiences to ours?"
Clark lowered his eyelids slightly. He obviously sensed that Wonder Woman was trying to gather intelligence, but her method wasn't very clever, asking too directly.
"Not quite, ma'am. You should be able to tell we're a bit younger. Lois and I aren't married, not even engaged yet, so naturally, there's no tragedy caused by the Joker."
"I see." Wonder Woman nodded, "But you'd better be wary. The madmen from Gotham aren't easy to deal with. I really don't know what Batman is thinking; if he had dealt with them earlier, there wouldn't be so much trouble."
"He probably has his considerations," Clark said. "After all, there are quite a few issues in Metropolis as well. Superheroes should help each other."
"I didn't expect you'd be curious about those two first," Diana chuckled.
At this point, Wonder Woman finally turned her gaze to Diana, scrutinizing her before saying, "You don't go to Battleworld often, do you? I haven't seen you much."
"Yes, I've been quite busy with work, especially lately. It's been a long time since I logged in." Diana shrugged slightly, then turned to Clark and said, "I'm off to find Bruce. You two continue the chat."
With that, she left. Meanwhile, Wonder Woman's gaze lingered on her, staring for quite a while.
Only then did Clark understand what Bruce once said about 'some things being obvious at a glance'.
When you face someone much more foolish than yourself, who thinks they are hiding well, but in reality, every move, every expression, every word is as plain as day, it's like getting the correct answers during an exam.
