A Visit

Few people sat around a mahogany table; they all had grim looks on their faces as they stared at the empty seat at the head of the table. At that moment, the door opened, revealing an older man, and behind him were three to six guards; the man walked into the room fully and then took a seat at the head of the table.

He waited for the others who stood up to take their seats before saying anything; "now you called, and whatever reason you called me here for, I want it to be short and brief. I do not want to hear you guys whine and cry in my ears all day like a baby." He began.

The Six men sitting around the table looked at each other or themselves and nodded their heads before one was brave enough to speak up,

"We have been wondering how long it will take for your successor to take over," he asked. He wasn't going to sugarcoat his words and just go straight to the point since there was no need to dally.
