As Miss Du's carriage disappeared into the distance, Cui felt a surge of panic rising within her.

She desperately wanted to follow Miss Du's carriage, but she knew that doing so would expose her true intentions.

With her cover on the line, she grappled with the dilemma before her.

"What should I do?" she muttered, her voice trembling with uncertainty.

The repercussions of failure weighed heavily on her mind.

She couldn't afford to jeopardize her mission, and the thought of facing the consequences was daunting.

Glancing at the impassive faces of the guards surrounding her, Cui realized that her chances of escape were slim.

With their watchful eyes tracking her every move, any attempt to flee would surely be met with resistance.
