Descending to the last steps, Caleb Li could felt all the eyes on him but noticed something different.

The Serpent Tribal Chief were looking at him with shiny eyes, their face full of shock and pride.

As for the other tribes, it was complicated but the most dominant expression he noticed was the envy.

But all this mean nothing to him. With a confidence stride, he walked toward them.

Just as he was a few meters from joining Serpent tribe, the Tiger tribe chief step forward.

"Wait," he said with expressionless gaze.

Caleb Li halt in his track and turn to him, "What?"

"You are outsider, you have no right to be inside the ancestress god shrine." He announced, his reverberating in the ear of everyone present.

"What do you mean he has no right be inside the ancestral god shrine?" The Yellow Serpent Tribal Chief responded with a deep frown on his face.
