With their newfound power, humans were able to push the Shataki back, but the battle was not as simple as they thought.

It was then they learned their enemies were not bent on destroying their world but were searching for something.

What was it? No one knew.

But then, in a small city, a boy was betrayed by his girlfriend and was killed, allowing a new soul to enter his body.

The arrival of this new soul would change the fate of both Blue Earth and the Ancient Realm as many secrets began to unravel.

"Stop them!" the town chief commanded, his voice filled with panic.

The Dark Beasts had breached the town wall and were trooping in quickly.

He wanted to rush to defend the hole created by the Dark Beasts, but he was stopped by a deadly Grade-4 Dark Beast.

Cries of anguish filled the air as guards tried their best to hold off the Dark Beasts' rampage.

Unfortunately, Dark Beasts were entirely different from ordinary beasts. They were faster, stronger, and more cunning.

With most guards and disciples from various halls facing such terrifying beasts for the first time, errors and mistakes were bound to happen.

The death rate of the inexperienced soldiers and disciples skyrocketed, leading to the breach in the town's defenses.
