The sound of battle echoed through the palace, with many disciples lying in pools of blood.

What started as a mere skirmish had escalated into a full-blown war.

Shao Shuren was covered in blood, a deep gash on her waist. Her face was pale, but she didn't seem to care as she was locked in battle with Gong Jin.

As for Gong Jin, his body was charred from lightning, with various cuts across his form.

He glared at Shao Shuren, his face filled with anger and hatred.

To the side, Yan Li was battling Zhou Xi, and both of them were covered in injuries.

Previously, Zhou Xi had been confident and arrogant, looking down on the Sky Cloud Sect disciples, but now his breathing was erratic.

The battle, which was supposed to end swiftly, had dragged on for over twenty minutes.
