Sprits Fly High

"Save me 20 minutes," Aki said.

"20 minutes!?? Do you expect me to be alive after those 20 minutes?" Su Yang asked.

"Well technically according to my analysis, the probability of you surviving is 5%." Aki chuckled.

"Like that's going to make me feel better." Su Yang cried.

"Well hey, you might survive this if you had a positive mindset."

"There is nothing to be positive about." Su Yang said with a frown on her face. Su Yang started running. As she got to the lab where all the animals were. She noticed that the animals had already left their cage and they were blocking her pathway to the stairs. Her only option left was to fight.

"Hey Aki what is the probability of me winning this fight?"

"1%" Aki answered.

"Well, I guess I have to make use of what I got." Su Yang chuckled. Su Yang tied her hair up. She got into a fighting position. A blue message appeared in front of her.

[Would you like to enable fight mode?]

Su Yang smirked at the animals who were attempting to fight her.

"Yes, I would." Su Yang said. Then her body was moving on its own. With abnormal speed, she punched one of the animals. That made a dent in its titanium skin. It was pretty obvious that animals were really strong. One by one they started attacking Su Yang. Restlessly she held up. But as she kept hitting them the clash between the titanium metal caused some damage to her body. All Su Yang could hear was clash and bang. Still, the fight went on.

"Aki, did you find an exit yet?" Su yang asked

"Give me 10 more minutes," Aki answered.

"Disable Fight Mode." Su Yang said.

[Fight mode has been disabled.]

Su Yang knew she was going to lose this fight because the odds between one robotic girl and twenty-four robotic animals would only lead to the one robotic girl's fall. So quickly Su Yang leapt on top of the robotic animals and jumped onto the stairs. She stuck out her tongue and made funny expressions. She was obviously mocking them. Su Yang started running for her life. The animals kept chasing her. As she and the animals ran out of room XGE. The animals paused and sniffed the corpses. Then they started eating them. Su Yang covered her mouth in shock. She looked at them with displeased eyes as they were eating them. She dropped down to the ground.

"NASA why would..you..build these monstrosities? To eat the dead of the living or to...." Su Yang's whisper trailed off, unable to comprehend the horrifying purpose of the creatures. The high-stakes conflict and the chilling discovery in the lab left her with more questions than answers. But she focused on what was important now which was escaping this lab alive. Slowly she tip-toed trying not to disturb the animals while they're craving the human corpses. She tripped on a dead one of the dead bodies causing more attention to herself. The animals came back to their sense and yet again they chased Su Yang. One of the animals bit her left arm with their titanium teeth. Causing blue blood to drip from her arm and surprised it didn't hurt. It felt more like a mosquito bite thought Su Yang.

"Su Yang according to my analysis there is no exit to be found." Aki disappointingly said.

"What!??? There is no exit to be found?"

"Yes." Su Yang bit her nails and began thinking of a solution to get out of this. As she was thinking the animals started to gain up on her. One by one they bit every part of her body including her head. More blue blood was dripping everywhere.

"Su Yang I think it's best if you use your abilities. If you die I die and we both know we don't want that."

"Abilities? WAIT— you're a genius aki."

"What do you mean," Aki asked in a confused tone

"Look my body is made out of titanium right?"

"Yes, it is."

"I can use that metal to my advantage to lift the piles of rubbage that are blocking the exit." Su Yang snickered.

"Did you just realize that?" Aki sighed.

"Oh please, when I asked for your help you failed me two times in total." Su Yang said. Ferociously Su Yang slapped the animals that were biting her body parts and made a run for the exit. But she lost her sense of direction and got cornered by the animals. She looked back there, the exit, within her grasp but she had nowhere to go. Animals on every corner. The red eyes were a sign of the animals' hunger. They were about to charge for Su Yang but stopped. Their eyes were blinking red and blue. Su Yang heard a human voice coming from one of the animals. It was a young girl.

"I.. don't want to kill anymore. I want to go back to my home." She sobbed. Su Yang realized that these animals used to be human. Then another voice came from one of the animals but this time it was directly towards me.

"Go!! Go!! Young girl. I don't know how long we could keep these animals under control." Su Yang took this opportunity to run. She looked back and waved.

"Thank you!!" There was a slight smile coming from one of the animals which brought warmth to Su Yang's heart. Su Yang bent down and picked up the piles of rubbish that were blocking the exit. She picked huge pieces of rocks like they were nothing. Then Su Yang heard growls that were coming from the animals. It looked like they had regained their sense. Su Yang had no time to spare. She picked them up one by one throwing them at the animals. But that didn't work the animals were getting closer by the second. Finally, she finished she opened the door and screamed.

"FREEDOM!!!!" When the animals took a glimpse of the sunlight. The red eyes they once had turned blue. All of them cried. They also experienced flashbacks of their daily lives and their real families. Together they howled at the sun and started to malfunction. The blue eyes vanished and they all fell. Su Yang bent down and prayed.

"May their spirits fly high."
