Interlude - Ferro - Part 1

Lanoch's departure for the Duat was a grand affair.

Surrounded by guards, Ferro was made to walk behind his owner, dressed in far flimsier clothes than what he wore in the harem.

Hifta basked in the attention but Ferro was far more demure, concentrating on reading his book as the palanquin bearing his "dungeon brides" was carried.

The mysterious commentator had some surprisingly witty things to say about subjects other than magic sometimes, and one of them was a quote that had been cycling through Ferro's mind a lot lately.

Revolutions don't happen with white gloves.

Perhaps the commentator had meant something else by it, but Ferro took it as encouragement. Encouragement to keep working, knowing that every little experiment and progression would build up to something greater.
