Chapter 52 - The Final Performance Approached

As the evening sun cast its golden hues over the horizon, Talon and Claire found themselves seated on the sandy beach, watching the sunset. Waves occasionally lapped at their feet, a soothing rhythm complementing the tranquility of the day.

"What's your favorite food, Talon?" Claire asked softly, her voice barely above the sound of the gentle surf.

"Food?" Talon echoed quietly. He had never really pondered over such luxuries. His life hadn't afforded him the privilege of having favorite foods.

"I guess, as long as it fills me up, I like it," he replied simply.

Claire giggled at his answer. "What about songs? What's your favorite song?" she probed further.

"Song?" Talon repeated, pausing to think. "I listen to a variety of genres, so I'm not sure I have a favorite type of song," he admitted.

Claire giggled again, enjoying their light conversation. "What about your favorite color?"
