Chapter 61 - I'm Not Interested

Talon dashed through the crowd, hot on the heels of the thief who had stolen Alice's bag. Around him, he noticed that while the theft had caught the attention of others, most bystanders chose not to intervene.

Many simply watched from a distance or even took out their phones to record the chase, a testament to the growing individualism in the city—or perhaps the country at large. People seemed to prioritize their own concerns, remaining indifferent as long as they were not personally affected.

"Even amidst such a crowd, they dare to steal from others. Where are the police in situations like this?" he pondered, frustration mounting with each stride.
