Eri, unable to accept the outcome, rushed towards Farhan after the race in which he had been defeated by Talon.

"What happened, Farhan? Were you joking? How could you lose the race? This is ridiculous!" Eri said angrily and assertively.

Farhan, lifted his face and shook his head. "You're the one who's joking. Didn't you see I raced as hard as I could? I may be a retired racer, but I'm not as young as I used to be."

"But you lost to Talon, a beginner!" Eri pressed.

"Do you think he drove like a beginner? Were you asleep during the race? Didn't you see with your own eyes? I'm sure you can tell the difference between a novice and a professional," Farhan retorted.

Eri fell silent, swallowing hard. He had witnessed everything from start to finish, and he could not deny that Talon truly raced like a professional.

"But how? I can't believe what happened..." Eri persisted.
