Any item that used mana required permission from the Hunters Association before it could be sold to the public. This functioned as quality control, ensuring it wasn't misused or exploited. Alex set the storage cube on the table, turned on the laptop, and pulled up a document. Sliding the screen toward Garric, he said, "Let's talk about that later. For now, this is the real topic of discussion." 

He knew Garric didn't have any prior knowledge of the power system. Alex had explicitly told Emily not to discuss any details with him beforehand. The cultivation method he had designed was completely different from traditional ones.

Instead of strengthening the body first before forming a golden core, Alex had reversed the process. His method used mana to directly create a pseudo-core inside the user. For awakeners, this would significantly enhance their abilities. For normal people, it would grant them new abilities entirely. And an added bonus—it extended lifespan.
