Based on what Alex told her, vampires grow stronger the older they are, not to mention Thalia has Alucard's body part. Even without consuming it, she should be able to grow stronger.

Both Alex and MingYue could tell Thalia hadn't consumed it, as their progenitor's blood told them she was just a normal vampire.
