Conflict

As a cultivator herself, I find it normal to find out someone's limit to the point of exhaustion under controlled situations. It's far better than learning it in real combat and ending up dying.

Knowing one's own strengths and weaknesses is a very important matter.

But hearing this, Elly disagreed. Her line of thought was similar to her mother's. 

Alex was still a kid at this time; they should have told him it was not good. But she didn't say it out loud since she didn't want to have a debate.

"What happened next then?"

"Well, he spent three days like that until he fainted. Based on how my mom said it, I am sure my father got an earful," Emily said with a chuckle.

"Do you remember how old he was at that time?" MingYue asked.

"Probably around seven or eight. Honestly, though, I respect my brother a lot. He's always there for us, no matter the situation, even when he was bullied."

"Alex bullied? You are joking, right?"
