Zombies?
Was that scene from a movie? No, it's unlikely. The smell, light, auditory sensation, and bodily feelings were all too real; the "he" in the memory must have truly been there.
But how could that be?
He hadn't experienced any zombie crisis in his past life.
So, was it a hallucination? After all, he might have delved into the realm of the subconscious in the sea of memories at that time, perhaps creating that scene from fragments of memory, just like dreaming.
The information wasn't entirely gathered yet, and Murphy decided to try a few more times.
However, when he used Total Recall again, he found his memory enriched with a lot of medical and genetic knowledge, but the scene from before didn't reappear.
Was it really just a hallucination? He couldn't help but recall the first time he used "Total Recall" a few years ago. Using the animation "The Lion King" as a lead, he dived into his memories at the time. He had a strong feeling as if he could possess his past self and control his actions at that time.
But since then, he had rarely encountered something similar, and Total Recall had always been used as a regular method for sorting through memories.
This experience made Murphy realize that perhaps the spell Total Recall had mechanisms he hadn't discovered yet.
Nevertheless, that investigation could wait for later. Now that he had dredged up most of the necessary knowledge from his memory, Murphy organized the data and handed it over to Jawad for verification.
"Where did you get these materials?" Jawad was astonished. Could there be anyone working more advanced than them?
"Some research from the Soviet National Laboratory and some from other places. Anyway, go and verify them."
"Okay!" Jawad nodded, "Give me at most two days, and I can verify these materials. If they are all true, we might only need a few months to develop a treatment potion for vampires."
With the help of the Time Accelerator, experimental verification didn't take long, and the materials provided gave him some ideas for treating the adverse symptoms of vampirism.
"Let me know after the potion passes the animal testing phase; I'll find you a few vampire volunteers," Murphy said.
Lysander and others in Knockturn Alley were vampires who hadn't seen sunlight for decades. They would certainly be willing to try.
Speaking of which, he still owed them a favor from years ago. He decided not to charge them for the treatment.

Having addressed the treatment for narcolepsy, Murphy enjoyed a period of leisure.
Plans progressed smoothly. In the Soviet Union, the Augustus Plan had covered nearly all government departments, and the secondary computing nodes built by the Umbrella Corporation were nearly completed. In a few months, Murphy expected to formally take over the Soviet administrative system.
In the UK, Patrick aggressively pushed through the second constitutional amendment, completely abolishing the House of Lords and the monarchy, allowing the queen and the current nobility to retain their titles, but no titles would be hereditary.
Most importantly, Patrick finally became president, consolidating most of the power in his hands.
This plan was practically challenging every power echelon in Britain.
Not to mention, Patrick was going after the wealthy.
He abolished various tax exemption systems, arguing that donations must go through state-designated channels, or else taxes would be levied heavily, preventing the rich from cycling money through charitable foundations owned by their spouses. Claiming to be a foreign resident? The foreign resident non-tax residency system was abolished. If you earn money in Britain, you pay taxes in Britain.
Even more so, Britain introduced a "Tycoon Tax," levying charges on super-wealthy individuals with personal assets exceeding ten million pounds.
With Patrick wielding a big stick, the Umbrella Corporation, the biggest tycoon, surprisingly took the lead in taking the hit, cooperating in a campaign that raised the actual tax rate of Britain's top rich to an all-time high.
According to reports, Morpheus Annon, the nominal founder of the Umbrella Corporation, paid over four billion pounds in taxes to the British government each year.
With money taxed from the elite spent on various infrastructure and welfare projects, Britain's employment rate and public happiness index reached a peak in nearly a century. Coupled with positive media controlled by Murphy, public support was overwhelming, and the minority elites were quickly buried by the tide of history without causing much of a stir.
His next plan, entirely opposite to that of a certain Mr. A's country from Murphy's original world, was to nationalize various important industries such as welfare and defense through Umbrella's hands.
Everyone had already noticed Patrick's socialist tendencies, but with the economy virtually in Umbrella's grasp, the capitalists were powerless to stop the red tide.
Meanwhile, cooperation between Britain and the Soviet Union became extremely frequent. A submarine cable across the North Sea, through Denmark, linked London with Riga, Latvia, and then Moscow.
Murphy's Horcrux, the Pioneer, could finally connect to the British internet.
Thus, the British government departments began their information reform.
Half a year later, as Murphy discussed the future development of the British-Soviet Union alliance with Patrick, he received a message from the aerospace testing lab. They were preparing to launch several lunar exploration satellites and asked if Murphy wanted to watch.
Without hesitation, Murphy arrived at the launch site, where a large rocket, improved from the "Proton" model, stood on the launch pad.
"We used the Seamless Expansion technology to load fuel, significantly saving space and weight. This Industrial Model rocket is only 40 meters tall, with a launch mass of just six hundred tons, a quarter of the Energy Model, with a lift-off thrust of 9800 kiloNewtons, but it can send twelve hundred tons of payload into low Earth orbit. For the thousand-kilogram Starlink satellites, we can launch a thousand at a time!"
In the launch control room, Shahin Popolov was thrilled, "This rocket's lunar orbit carrying capacity is nearly six hundred tons. Just in terms of carrying capacity, not only lunar exploration but even lunar colonization is possible."
"In fact, we've installed a Floating Charm system on the launch pad, theoretically increasing the launch mass by about five hundred tons."
"However, landing on the moon isn't just about having enough carrying capacity. Orbital rendezvous and docking technology, soft landing technology, space communication technology, etc., are all very important."
"This launch is mainly to verify the reliability of important technologies such as Seamless Expansion, Floating Charm, space communication, etc."
Murphy did some quick calculations. One Big Ivan weighed about 27 tons, so six hundred tons of payload meant 22 Big Ivans.
If there were gods on the moon, Murphy really wanted to know if they could withstand it.
"After the exploration satellites enter lunar orbit, they will immediately observe the lunar surface and send back data. About four and a half hours later, we should receive the signal. According to your previous request, it will land on the far side of the moon after orbiting the moon."
"Is it a live broadcast?"
"There's about a two-second delay, but it's not a big deal."
"Good, I want to see for myself what's on the moon."
