Chapter 424: Super Virus
In Evan County, a bioresearch institute originally belonging to Umbrella Corporation underwent massive layoffs over the past few days.
Within three days, everyone had left the virology research facility, which spanned over forty acres.
Half a day later, a group of domesticated elves arrived at the institute, sealed all doors and windows, and set up a powerful Muggle Repelling Charm around the perimeter.
That night, several Portkeys were established, and thousands of magical robots under Murphy's control moved dozens of large machines into the dozens of ultra-clean laboratories on the third basement level.
Three hours later, the magic robots assembled three hundred and eighty experiment stations and completed a conveyor belt-style automated experimental assembly line.
Thousands of viruses, selected and categorized, were placed in culture dishes on each experimental station.
The next day at dawn, a time acceleration device was activated, and the research institute entered a time flow one hundred times faster than normal.
The experiment began.
With experience in training anti-cancer viruses, Murphy was now adept at conducting experiments to train viruses using the Seeds of Mind. He implanted Seeds of Mind into these thousands of viruses and induced mutations through radiation, chemical, and other mutagenic methods. He then used Dittany growth accelerators to speed up the viruses' replication before using the Seeds of Mind to set rules for selecting these viruses.
After years, even decades, and nearly a trillion iterations of elimination and selection, he created a super virus.
This virus had the following characteristics: 1. High contagiosity. It could be transmitted through almost any means, including air, water sources, skin contact, and more.
2. Strong adaptability. It could survive in the air, soil, and water flow at room temperature for at least 72 hours or enter a dormant state in harsh conditions waiting for activation.
3. Low toxicity. Under normal circumstances, the virus had very low toxicity and pathogenicity, causing only mild symptoms like coughing and runny nose, and at most, lung or gastrointestinal infections, which could quickly heal on their own.
More importantly, Murphy significantly enhanced its adaptability and responsiveness to the Seeds of Mind.
Murphy implanted a communicative type of Seeds of Mind into these viruses, allowing direct control over the viruses' dormancy, activation, replication, and death.
He could even create cellular-level virus machines by making the viruses combine in specific ways. These machines could, according to his commands, perform functions including but not limited to "eliminating cancer cells," "activating neural pathways," "killing the host," "strengthening muscles," and more.
With the help of the time accelerator, experiments that would normally take years could now be completed in just one month.

Murphy and Dumbledore stood on a mountain peak, looking at the city that had become ruins in the distance.
"How did they respond?" Murphy asked.
"The German Ministry of Magic has agreed to join the Wizarding Alliance. They hope we can train their Aurors, and they're willing to provide magical nodes. The ritual you requested has been built near the magical nodes by them," Dumbledore replied.
"The French Ministry of Magic is still observing, but the chance of them joining us is slim. They look up to the USA, and the USA, being the chair of the International Wizards' Conference, has passed a declaration of war against the Wizarding Alliance. By this time tomorrow, they'll probably declare war on us."
"Huh," Murphy chuckled. "Clueless."
"Did you figure out the spell principle of that thing?" Murphy asked again.
Dumbledore took out a pen and a big book, the Acceptance Pen and the Admittance Book. "The magic on this is very ancient. However, after studying many texts, I've managed to understand some of it and have translated it into two Runespoor spell rituals, retaining its original abilities to detect and track wizarding bloodlines."
"That's enough," Murphy said.
"What are you planning to use it for?" Dumbledore couldn't help asking.
"You probably wouldn't like to hear it," Murphy said with a smile.
Dumbledore frowned. "Murphy, will you still lead the wizarding world to a better future?"
Murphy looked at the old man, sighed after a while, and said, "You see the ruins here. In front of the gods, if we can't unite, we'll be slaughtered like ants."
"I'll do my best to lead everyone to that better future."
"But the process might not be as gentle as you imagine."

A cargo ship from East Asia was stopped by several military ships.

Threatening the Soviet Union with nuclear war to stop them from launching more magical satellites was one of them, and imposing trade restrictions on the UK and the Soviet Union through their international trade status was also an important part of the USA's plan.
