Time For A Murder

Caleb came to an abrupt stop as he stared at nothing before him. Confused, Dominik and Lucien stopped beside him, a look of concern on their faces.

"I would love to pick up my mate," said Caleb after a second of hesitation. He pulled the phone away from his ear, only to see that the caller ID was an unknown number. "In fact, I can come right now."

"Not smart," muttered the guy quickly. "This place is too locked down for a quick retrieval. And if you are caught, you'll end up in here, too. She said that you were a shifter, right?"

Caleb let out a controlled breath. "I am," he replied.

"Then you will end up here beside her, and that won't be enough to save her. I'll text you the coordinates. They keep track of any outgoing calls longer than a minute and a half," continued the man right before he hung up.
