Midnight Snack  

"That is the only logical conclusion that I can come up with," sighed Lily, rubbing her forehead. "Otherwise, why hasn't anyone been able to escape and let Alpha Raphael know what is going on? I mean, even a group of humans isn't enough to take out a single pissed off wolf, especially in shifted form."

 

Caleb grunted his agreement, but he still didn't like the idea that whoever was running the facility had found a way to prevent shifters from shifting.

 

"We need to get Addy out," he growled low, his head turning toward the field off in the distance.

 

"We do," agreed Lily. "But we can't go in half cocked. That is a fantastic way of getting both ourselves and whatever shifters are being held in there killed. And dying isn't high up on my list of things to do this year."
