Bernadette jumped to her feet, slamming both hands onto the table, the breakfast in front of her completely forgotten.
"I'm sorry," blinked Damien, shocked for a moment. "Did you really call the heat repressor a stupid medication?"
"It is. We survived for centuries before little Addy came around. It's not like we really need the medication," sneered Bernadette. "You go into heat, you get fucked, and count your blessings if you don't have kids as a result."
The four men stood there, stunned at the vile comments coming out of the woman's mouth. It had been stated that the heat suppressor was one of the best inventions next to paracetamols and NSAIDs.
It gave women control over their own bodies and brought them out from under the thumb of men. It gave women the right to choose who they had sex with and when.
And if they wanted children or not.
This was not some silly little invention that no one wanted or needed.
