I woke up with a jolt, my head felt like it was going to explode and my eyes felt like sand paper.
I had been dead after all - or whatever this worlds version of death was.
"OH THANK HEAVENS!" Arslan said with a sad tinge in his voice and suddenly placed his arms around me. He hugged me tightly. I hugged him back. My arms felt heavy for some reason like I had just run a thousand miles and all my muscles were sore. Slowly my senses came back.
I noticed a doctor was holding his breath with a rag on his nose. But he looked like he didn't want to offend anyone.
The last sense that came back to me was smell.
And just like Apollo had said - I know understood why the doctor was covering his nose. Holding his breath.
The stench on this boy was worse than hell itself.
