CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY NINE

The dragon tensed as he felt something touch his arm.

He turned sharply to see Yara glaring at him, though the effects were dulled by how pale she looked. 

"What?" he asked, eyeing her with curiosity, the woman was always an oddity to him.

He could never guess what was on her mind. 

"Let me check your wounds too," she said, pulling at his arm to sit closer. 

"I don't need all that," the dragon huffed. "I am a dragon."

She sighed, shaking her head slowly. He could smell her scent relax, good. 

"How many times do I have to remind you that you are in a human body now?" she asked as she pulled her satchel closer and brought out a few simple healing salves and bandages.
