The Mortal Dao was the simplest to comprehend but it did not resonate well with most cultivators.

First of all, one needed to risk one's life and live a mortal life to even come close to comprehending this Dao.

It was not that there were no other ways, but what way was better than living a mortal life to comprehend the Mortal Dao? It required a certain kind of determination to leave cultivation heaven to travel to the mortal world and allow oneself to be contaminated by the mortal world.

It was simply not worth it.

And the biggest turn-off is that the Mortal Dao can only go so far.

The Mortal Dao is mainly built on the foundation of leaving everything to the Heavens and to fate. Accumulate Karma to live a better life in your next life regardless of the difficulties one experiences in the present.

It was a very… helpless path.

Who would allow themselves to be played with just to cultivate such a useless Dao? It was ok if one was enlightened or had an epiphany to comprehend this Dao, but even mortals themselves preferred wielding a sword over leaving everything up to something as abstract as fate.

Even Wen Qi would not have cultivated this Dao if he did not have the experience from his previous life.

As for why he suppressed it and refused to achieve immortality, it was because the limit of the Mortal Dao was the Human Immortal Realm.

Cultivating the Mortal Dao was essentially taking the initiative to be subordinate to the world. To be tainted and eventually assimilated with the world.

If you were lucky and somehow gained the favor of the Heavenly Dao, that was all well and good, otherwise, you'd just end up being an errand boy.

While Wen Qi had ways to circumvent these situations, he preferred to stay away from the Heavenly Dao. If he wanted anything to do with it, it could only be a fair exchange at best.

As for comprehending the Dao and all that, did he still need it? With a single thought, he could pluck a Dao Rule from the 10000-mile domain and refine it directly. There was no need to be polite.

Anyway, there were no particular techniques for cultivating the Mortal Dao, but Wen Qi basically left texts and comprehensions on the stele.

Something like the art of negotiations and the art of trade. The secrets and techniques of trade. The study of Business, Politics, Socio-Economics, Sciences, and Technology were all there.

In short, all the knowledge that could be found in the original Earth was there. The only difference was that they were all hidden and obscure and would require quite the insight to glimpse them.

Wen Qi did not have any plans to interfere with the development of this world. The Immortal World had stood for millions of years and Wen Qi was fine living things as they were.

There was no need to fix something that was not broken. But it would not hurt to show the natives a glimpse of what could be.

The Space that he had curved out around the Monument was converted into a study hall similar to those used for calligraphy and shelves appeared around as books of the history of the Mortal World started appearing all over.

There were billions of books and if Wen Qi did not make a conscious effort to compile and summarize them, there would be many more.

These books were an accurate representation of the History as kept by the Heavenly Dao of the Immortal World. All secrets of the mortal world were kept here and Wen Qi did not plan on hiding anything.

If the Absolute Sect was going to stand Supreme on the Great Desolate one day, he was surely going to antagonize the Dynasties and Governments around one day. It was better to undermine them early and plant a seed.

Wen Qi had effectively converted this 'world' into an Akashic Record of the Mortal World and Mortal Forces and the records would be updated daily as soon as they happen.

"Little Sys, use these Templates to make such a monument for all the Myriad Dao out there with reference to Cultivation levels, Cultivation techniques, and Other Skills.

You can also make the shelves into Jade Pillars for Techniques and a Merit Point System for exchange."

Wen Qi's thinking was fairly simple.

The Mortal Dao relied heavily on the study and was more in line with Confucianism so it was normal to have bookshelves and desks all over. But that was not true for other Daos.

Something like Alchemy required vastly different resources than Confucianism. It was better to have Alchemy rooms and stations than anything else.

Cultivation Techniques also had a very high requirement when it came to transmission and using text only might not be effective.

Some techniques were so profound that they required a visual or even a fully immersive experience to grasp them. This was also the reason why most cultivators were unable to use a technique as well as the creator could.

Some things could just not be taught.

As for the Exchange System and Merit Point System, this was in place for the exchange of techniques with the general population.

The Dao Monuments were there and everyone could go to comprehend them directly. It would be great if the Cultivators created new Techniques and submitted them for points or other more advanced techniques.

Wen Qi was not going to make everything free even if he did not need this bit of gain. It was easier for people to look down on free things. By and by, the things they got for free would be taken lightly.

It would also lead others astray. Why would a Human Realm Cultivator value a Human Realm Cultivation Technique if they could directly cultivate a Heaven Realm or an Immortal Realm Technique?

While it was far-fetched, the danger was real.

Wen Qi looked carefully as different projections appeared in front of him and he could make changes here and there where he saw a need to. He only put everything aside when his personal maid made her way to the gazebo with his meal.
