Chapter 28: Darius' Odd Behavior

Our eyes meet, but I don't hold his gaze.

I fall my gaze, returning to a book I had forgotten I had, but grateful I do.

He stands there, still staring at me.

"Hm." Is all he says, before heading into the bathroom located on my right.

When the bathroom door closes, I find myself becoming anxious.

As of now, I don't know what to do in the slightest, but all I know is that I need to be close to him.

Again, my skin crawls at the thought of this.

But this is the only way to make him pay for what he did.

And if this is to be my part in getting that, so be it.

I take a deep breath and decide to make my peace with all of this.

I will have revenge for my mother and brother.

*THUD* makes my heart jump.

Again, he slid the doorway too hard, he might as well break the glass at once.
