Chapter 57: A Lift Of My Soul

Elias and I both surface, all the whole taking in a huge gulp of air.

I smile at Elias, as I find myself tasting my lips again and again.

"Do you feel better?"

"I do." I say, floating beside him.

"Good." He smiles, then swims backwards.

We float around, dive and even race each for a while, till we return to solid ground, where I find a bag waiting on a rock for us.

Elias heads over to the bag, unzips it and produces a towel, which we use to dry off.

As I catch the towel, I take a seat on a rock, particularly taking my time, as I find Elias' gaze on me sensual.

But you can't give in to those desires.

That voice again, annoyance glazes my heart, and I proceed to clean myself out in a frenzy.

"We have another five minutes to spend time together, so I'd say we make the must of it."

A time limit, there's always a time limit for both of us... I hate it.
