Chapter 88: Troubled

I make my way over to Rosemary's room, as fast as I can, I've worried her, I've worried her too much.

She needs to know I'm okay.

I rush towards her front door, and before I'm allowed to get any closer, the door opens.

Rosemary meets my gaze, and I see her melt through her eyes.

She rushes over to me, and wraps her arms around me, so tight I begin to lose air, but I don't care.

"You weren't that worried were you?" I wrap my arms around her.

"As long as it's you, I'm always worried." Her voice breaks. "God knows you can take care of yourself about as much as an ant can ride a bicycle." He chuckles and I smile.

"I'm sorry Rosemary."

"Don't do that, it wasn't your fault." For once I actually do believe that, because truly this time, it wasn't.

"How'd you get the news?" I ask, genuinely curious about this.

"Malcom, he told me." She finally decides to let go of me.

But on all honesty, I wish he'd held on a bit longer.
