"But seriously though, you just screwed me over." She says then moves ahead.
"You say that so casually though."
"Because I'm used to it." She says and I'm not exactly surprised.
The way she spoke and what I saw earlier, reminded me of a certain somebody.
"I thought you were a spoilt b*tch, didn't expect you to have such a beautiful relationship."
She chuckles.
"Guess I deserved that." She says and I notice she falls back, keeping my pace so she is beside me. "And, being a spoilt b*tch is far from my story."
"Your story." I say, keeping my gaze on the bonfires ahead and the wolves seated around them.
I continue to hear whispers about Darius, which bites into me.
"Lemme guess, grow up in an abusive home, was sold as a bargaining chip against your will, and ended up being sold to another wolf because the first one rejected you?" I ask, a little sarcasm in my voice.
