"Not too far, the cave should be just beyond that stream."

"Good, let's hurry and get out of here."

'Abigail?' Celine calls me, so I snap out of my daze.

I don't respond, I just turn to her so she knows I heard her Neuropath.

'Do I even need to ask?' She says, deep concern in her voice.

'No…I'm fine.' I say, then I turn away from her.

'Right…as usual.' She says, then turns toward the path ahead.

I try to stay focused, I try to be alert and keep my mind on the task ahead.

But…memories of last night, take the forefront of my mind.

And each time, I find myself feeling empty.

'You'll…be alright once we leave this island.' Celine once again calls my attention.

It is now that it dawns on me how kind Celine really is.

As his words of last night sinks in, and so does the emptiness, I also remember Celine and how much she fought for me.
