As I laid down on the floor of The Dungeon next to Hinata I thought back to the fight we just had.

She had seriously improved, to the point that I had to just use my overwhelming strength to defeat Hinata, if we were equal in strength she would perhaps have had a chance to beat me.

"That is unlikely with my assistance."

'True.'

With a Manas like Othinus assistance unless someone has a completely unknown and out of the box power I would still likely end up on top, even Othinus' previous incarnation, Odin would make me nigh-unbeatable even if I was restricted to Hinata's level.

Truly, an overpowered supercomputer is my biggest cheat in this new life.

Hinata's EP increased a good amount due to her evolution, she was easily around Luminous' own level and Hinata could still train to grow a bit stronger, Hinata had raw EP but that didn't signify how well she used it, she would need to train a bit to get her efficiency back to what it used to be at. She could probably even surpass her former efficiency too.

Heh, maybe this would finally get Luminous to stop being lazy and train a bit more, I'm sure her pride couldn't handle being surpassed by someone who a short time ago was far inferior to her.

'Could you share the data for Hinata's Skill?'

Othinus had helped develop Hinata's Ultimate Skill even if Hinata's willpower and desire in the end is what formed it, so Othinus already knew of all the abilities of Hinata's new Ultimate Skill, but I wanted to keep that as a bit of a surprise for me for our spar, and I was indeed quite surprised.

Hinata's Virtual World as she called it was a game changer, and she used it quite creatively as well in my opinion. There were likely restrictions as well, and yet she still managed to do quite well with her Virtual World.

"Very well, unrestricting data on the Ultimate Skill: Fortuna, Lord of Odds."

Damn, that is one powerful Skill.

Thought Acceleration, Universal Sense, Holy Haki, Space-Time Manipulation, Multi-Dimensional Barrier, All of Creation, Calculation Domain, Virtual World. Each of those were incredibly useful and in some cases down right broken abilities individually.

I'm guessing Multi-Dimensional Barrier and Space-Time Manipulation are due to my Blessing imbuing itself in Hinata's Ultimate Skill.

I didn't even know it was possible to bless a Skill in general but it seems anything is possible.

Fortuna's essence seemed to be Future Foresight, just like how Satanael's essence was Wrath, Uriel's was the loyalty of one's followers or the Believer System, and Spatial Management, and so on.

Calculation Domain basically allowed Hinata to perfectly see the future as long as she had enough information on hand, unfortunately for her this ability of hers just wasn't suited to be used against me.

Whatever future she saw, I would see whatever actions she would take according to her calculations. Basically she would see the future through calculation, then she would attempt to take advantage of that future but I would see her try to take advantage of whatever future she saw and then counteract her. It would basically be a game of cat and mouse with both of us trying to one up each other.

Two individuals with their own precognition fighting each other really just depends on who's precognition is more accurate, which in this case would be mine since Hinata doesn't have enough data on me to accurately predict any of my actions, though now that she knows I have Seer that may change in the future.

She was able to disable my precognition to some extent which on its own was impressive.

Virtual World was what she used to accomplish this feat, though there were other ways to disable Seer. It was far from perfect after all. There were no absolutes in this world, one theory I had as to how to disable it was something similar to what Shanks did in One Piece.

Observation Haki's future sight worked by reading someone's intent to predict their actions, basically constructing the most likely future based on their intent. Shanks just hid his intent perfectly so that didn't work on him.

Avoiding Seer was a tad different, but the general premise was similar. Control your presence to the point that even the world thinks you no longer exist making Seer incapable of predicting one's actions. Seer basically peeked into the future with the world's help, but if you hid from the world itself then there was nothing to peek into.

In theory it would work, it's just incredibly difficult, far harder than just hiding your intent like what Shanks did, but either way Hinata managed with Virtual World.

Virtual World to be honest was just localized reality warping, within Hinata's personal world reality was what she wanted which was how she created lesser copies of herself, she sped up her own time I noticed which accelerated her speed beyond what she was normally capable of, she added various effects to the world and she even threw off my precognition.

It wasn't all powerful or she would have just made me lose, though I doubt that something that broken even existed.

Hinata was still basically unbeatable amongst those on her level unless she faced someone truly special, even those stronger than her might have difficulty against her if she leveraged Fortuna right.

And she still had more potential, it wasn't like her Unique Skills Usurper or Vendetta had evolved into Ultimate Skills yet, sure that might never happen but I had a feeling she could do it.

Hinata was a bit of a perfectionist so she would want to evolve all of her Skills to the peak of their capability.

Both Usurper and Vendetta at the Ultimate level would be terrifying.

Usurper alone would likely allow Hinata to easily copy higher level Skills, perhaps even Ultimate Skills, yet for some reason I didn't mind that.

I noticed Hinata getting up next to me. "That is enough resting for me." She stated.

"It's barely been 20 minutes."

Hinata nodded. "Indeed, I must train further if I wish to grow stronger."

I yawned. "Sure sure, you're already pretty strong though, I wasn't lying when I told you to stand proud."

Even if I did say that as a Jujutsu Kaisen reference, the timing and situation was too good not to say it, I can't even be blamed!

"Indeed, I am well aware that I have shown significant growth, but that is not enough for me. I need to gain the same amount of control over my power that I previously had, this overwhelming amount of energy is still not completely under my control."

That is true, just having EP alone didn't equate to efficiency, look at Veldora, he had an absurd amount of EP yet before meeting Rimuru he wasn't all that strong from what I know.

Hinata sealed him when using Chloe's body, and back then Chloe's Hero's Egg hadn't even hatched so it wasn't like she had a whole lot of energy to work with. Veldora simply got out skilled.

Still, I shrugged my shoulders. "Suit yourself."

"I will be returning to Ruberious, I must make sure that my subordinates haven't been slacking."

I nodded. "Mind if I come along?"

I should probably see Luminous, it was only right after becoming lovers, it hadn't even been a week since then but even if Luminous was an immortal True Ancestor it was probably best to show her that I did value and care for her.

I wasn't the kind of guy to pump and dump, and while the start of our relationship may have been a bit rocky (on Luminous' end) that quickly changed.

My winning personality won her over.

"....I suppose that is true in some way."

Heh, even a Manas agrees!

A small smile formed on Hinata's face. "I would not be opposed to your company."

I clapped as I stood up. "Great, cause I was gonna come along anyway!"

Hinata rolled her eyes. "I expected nothing less."

It's been a few hours since I arrived at Tempest, maybe Raiden's training with Middray is done by now.

I told her to return to my territory so she should tell everyone that I'm fine, those girls can get rather worried if I don't communicate my status, it's actually rather adorable and it does cause a warm feeling to bloom in my chest.

What guy doesn't appreciate a girl, or in my situation girls that worry for them even when they know there is nothing to be worried about.

"Ah by the way, there was something I wanted to begin teaching you at some point."

Hinata looked at me with curiosity. "Oh? What did you wish to teach me?" She asked with complete sincerity.

The days when Hinata would look at me skeptical about my teachings are long gone now.

"You know that Miracle tier Holy Magic does what it does generally through manipulating Spiritrons." I stated.

Hinata nodded. "Right."

"You use all of your Miracle class Holy Magic through Luminous as a proxy to manipulate the Spiritrons, you use the collective faith of all the followers of Luminism and also borrow some of Luminous' own computation power to pull things like Disintegration off, but in the end all of those Spells use Spiritrons to do what they do. What you're doing by praying to Luminous for your Holy Magic is fine, but it restricts how far you can truly go with Holy Magic. For example I can cast a Disintegration hundreds of times more potent than yours on my own, though I'm not saying you'll be able to do that."

Metatron is just built different.

"But you may still be able to make your Holy Magic a lot more potent if you learn to manipulate Spiritrons yourself, besides, what you are doing by relying on faith to cast your Holy Magic is putting a crutch on yourself, if you can it's always best to get rid of things like that." I finished.

Hinata stared at me with a feverent intensity. "Teach me please."

I shot her a wink. "You got it, but let's go to Ruberious first, it's probably best if you check in with Luminous."

After everything Hinata hasn't really had a chance to talk with Luminous, from what I know the two of them are friends so I'm sure both of them would like the chance to talk just like old times, they've known each other for a very long time now so I'm sure they have much to speak about.

Hags.

Hinata squinted her eyes at me. "Did you think something rude about me?"

I shook my head. "Nope, you must be imagining things."

Truly, a woman's intuition is a power even I can't copy.

Hinata didn't look convinced but nodded nonetheless. "Very well then, we will go to Ruberious first."

In the blink of an eye a portal formed in front of us, one that connected to the Grand Cathedral of Ruberious, basically the capital of Luminism.

"It seems you've quickly gotten the hang of teleporting."

Hinata smiled. "Indeed, it's a useful ability to have, I can go wherever I wish as long as I have a clear image and the coordinates."

I nodded. "Yup, teleporting really does make a lot of things easier."

Imagine having to walk or fly to wherever you want to visit.

I gestured forwards. "After you, my lady."

A light dusting of red appeared on Hinata's cheeks. "Hmph."

Once she walked through the portal I followed after her.

As I stepped through the portal I looked around the area; we weren't in the public area from what I could tell, however the place was still tastefully decorated.

There were ancient paintings depicting ancient battles on the walls and I could feel a Holy Energy emanating through the place as the focal point of Luminism.

"Did you wish for me to give you a tour?" Hinata asked.

I turned to look at her, she had a well hidden but eager look on her face, it seemed she wanted to show off some of her domain.

"Sure, I haven't seen much of Ruberious. Luminous showed me around Night Garden but not the area inhabited by Humans."

Hinata nodded. "Very well, follow along then."

"The Grand Cathedral is pretty important huh?" I voiced out after the tour.

Hinata nodded. "It is very important to Luminism. It is home to the highest levels of the Western Holy Church, newbie priests are trained here, and the training grounds outside is where the Temple Knights train until they are qualified to join the Order. Everything starts here."

Hinata had shown me around the Grand Cathedral, and the capital city of Ruberious, Lune.

We were interrupted numerous times by people who fretted Hinata, all of them were relieved that she had returned to Ruberious which I'm pretty sure only steeled her resolve to continue protecting this Kingdom.

I didn't care either way, it was her life, but I wouldn't have been surprised if she decided to switch things up, she basically went through some character development so change was expected, but I guess some things will stay the same.

As I suspected, the capital city of Lune was rather dull in my opinion. I hadn't ever visited the Human half of Luminous' territory, but the Humans did live decent lives, there was no famish, no homelessness, Monster attacks were dealt with, and everyone had something to do.

But the cost of that was that Humanity was limited. All of the Humans in Ruberious were subservient to Luminism so none protested their situation all that much, those that did I'm sure were taken care of, but due to this no Humans got creative, none of them wanted to try new things out which in my opinion limits their potential. If they wanted to live like that it was fine.

But in the end it's none of my business, this was Luminous' territory so she could do what she wants, it's not like she was abusing her people or anything. Perhaps it was almost evil of me to brush something like this off, but what can I say, at this point I really only cared about those close to me and those I was responsible for.

Lune did have some interesting technology and Magic employed to keep it how it is. There was Magic that maintained the temperature, Magic that created the ideal conditions for crop growth, it was really an ideal city to live in if you don't mind giving up the majority of your independence.

There was also a large city-encompassing Barrier that repelled Monsters, Elementals, Daemons, and Majin that attempted to enter the city without permission. I was able to enter quite easily due to my means, manipulating the Laws the Barrier functioned on was child's play to me.

Though I'm sure Luminous still sensed my intrusion, I'm sure she's waiting for Hinata and I in her little NEET mountain.

As Hinata and I continued to walk around we were interrupted. "Lady Hinata!" I noticed a small smile appear on Hinata's face once she heard the voice, this must be someone important to her then.

We both turned around, I was met with a light brown haired man.

He quickly kneeled down in front of Hinata. "It is a relief to see you without injury, Lady Hinata."

Hinata's lips twitched. "It is nice to see you as well Nikolaus, stand up, I wish to introduce you to someone."

My eyes lit up in realization. Hinata had told me about Nikolaus in the past, he was basically her biggest simp, though he was quite strong as an Enlightened.

He was looking at Hinata with a worshipful gaze, yup, he's her biggest simp alright.

As Nikolaus stood up Hinata gestured to me. "This is Felix, he's my… friend, teacher?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "Right now let's go with friend."

Hinata nodded. "Right, friend then."

Nikolaus bowed to me. "It is a pleasure to meet you Lord Felix, I thank you for passing on your teachings to Lady Hinata."

I waved him off. "It's no problem, I had my own fun." I grinned as I thought back to beating Hinata into the ground.

Hinata glared at me from the side of her eyes before looking back at Nikolaus. It was pretty amusing that he was barely paying me any attention, even though he likely knew who I was. I definitely wasn't used to it, but it was nice. My ego could use a break sometimes.

Nikolaus nodded and turned back to Hinata. "It seems this journey of yours has done you some good Lady Hinata, your presence feels more powerful and you look far more… ethereal, almost divine."

Hinata's lips twitched after hearing Nikolaus. "Yes, I have grown through this journey of mine."

Nikolaus nodded. "I see. I wished to inform you of some matters now that you have returned if you have time?"

Hinata looked at me with a questioning look. "I don't mind."

Hinata nodded and turned to Nikolaus. "Very well then, do make it quick though."

Nikolaus nodded. "As you wish. First off the Rook Geniuses have been slacking without your command Lady Hinata, as have the Ten Great Saints, each group has grown… lax without your supervision."

Hinata's lips curled downwards. "I see, I will have to make sure to correct this mistake then."

Speaking of the Rook Geniuses, the military of Ruberious was pretty damn strong, at least within the bounds of the Western Nations.

There were tens of thousands of Temple Knights, each of them were fairly strong as well, going by the Free Guilds ranking system they were around the B+ Rank on average.

Then there were the Crusaders who were all at Rank A at minimum of which there were one hundred.

And then the Rook Geniuses, a pretty dumb name if you ask me, but they were pretty strong. There are 33 Rook Geniuses, they were led by the Three Battlesages who were the stronger ones among the Ten Great Saints, which is also a dumb title, only two of the Ten Great Saints were Saints in the first place, in fact it should be Nine Great Saints since I kinda yoinked Glenda from Luminous.

Still, each of the Rook Geniuses were at A Rank minimum, but most if not all exceeded that level. A group of the Rook Geniuses could take down Calamity Class threats which was around a small kingdom level threat so they were somewhat strong.

There was of course also a common army filled with less powerful beings, they were the ones who basically acted as the police force, they took care of rule breakers and made sure the order was not disrupted.

Then there were the Vampires hidden beneath Ruberious who were all also pretty strong. The Bloody Knights under Luminous were basically Luminous' secret service which was filled with strong Vampires and some Surmounters. The Surmounters under Luminous and Louis alone who had conquered their weakness to the sun and were all around Calamity Class at minimum.

All in all, Luminous had developed a pretty strong force under her over the years, and that's not even considering the massive leg up she had on anyone who attempted to attack her in Ruberious due to the various defenses in place, not to mention Luminous herself who had an Ultimate Skill, and now Hinata who also had an Ultimate Skill.

Even I would be worried about sending my subordinates up against Luminous's forces as Hinata alone would likely body most of my subordinates with her bullshit Ultimate Skill. It's a good thing everyone on my side is in the process of undergoing a training arc.

Nikolaus went on to inform Hinata of a few more matters before finishing.

"I am satisfied to have seen you with no harm done to you Lady Hinata, I will leave you to your activities with your friend." Nikolaus bowed.

Hinata nodded. "Thank you Nikolaus."

I waved. "See ya."

Once Nikolaus was gone Hinata turned to me. "Let us go see Luminous now, after that it seems I need to teach my subordinates a lesson."

I do not envy her underlings.

I nodded. "Sounds good."

Hinata led us towards a corner of the Grand Cathedral before tapping certain places on the wall.

I watched with interest as the wall opened up.

"Huh, that reminds me of the entrance to Diagon Alley."

"Diagon Alley? What is that?" Hinata asked.

"Oh you poor soul, I'll have to project the Harry Potter movies for you some time." I sighed.

Harry Potter definitely wasn't the greatest piece of literature I'd ever read, but the movies were entertaining at least.

Hinata nodded. "Very well, I will hold you to that promise."

"Sure sure, we can make it a date." I added with a wink.

"W-What?! D-Date?!" Hinata squeaked as a hint of red appeared on her face.

I laughed. "You're too fun to tease, you're just doing it to yourself at this point."

Hinata pouted and stomped on my foot before she turned away from me. "Hmph!"

I narrowed my eyes at her, I wasn't going to take that unprovoked, I may have allowed her to bypass Infinity in that moment, but that doesn't matter, I will have my revenge.

I raised my foot and stepped downwards. I smirked as I hit Hinata's foot. Spatial Manipulation allowed me many wonders, one of which was touching other people from a distance through distorting Space.

Hinata's head snapped to me as she looked at me with a competitive light, and so began our war of footsies as we stood still in the middle of a hallway.

"Ah, Lady Hinata!" Hinata froze just as she was about to attempt to step on my foot once more.

I bet that'll teach her to use her Universal Sense more often, I myself always know what's going on in my general surroundings.

She slowly turned around, as did I.

"Ah, I know you! Hello Leonard."

He's gotten a bit stronger, his EP was around the 360,000 level mark, good on him.

Leonard bowed. "Hello Lord Felix." He then turned to Hinata with a somewhat stiff smile on his face.

"Lady Hinata, it has been some time." Leonard said.

Hinata smiled. "Leonard, it is nice to see you again." Her eyes then narrowed. "You will not mention anything you may have seen." She ordered.

Leonard's back straightened. "Yes!"

Hinata nodded with a satisfied smile. "Good. Were you also heading to the Sacred Mountain?" Hinata asked.

Leonard shook his head. "No, Lady Luminous does not wish to be disturbed by us unless necessary, I had simply heard from Nikolaus that you had returned and wished to greet you, one of the priests said you came in the direction of the hidden room."

Hinata nodded. "I see, very well then. I will be calling a meeting for the Ten Great Saints at a later date so do be prepared."

Leonard nodded before leaving.

She then turned to me. "Come Felix, we have dawdled for long enough."

"You started it." I said with a shrug of my shoulders.

"You started it by teasing me." Hinata responded with a pout.

"Sure, sure, whatever you say." I said as I stepped into the hidden room.. I heard the wall close behind us as I stepped through the portal I formed.

Once Hinata stepped through I closed the portal behind us.

I took a deep breath as I took in the chilly air. Luminous liked to stay in her Sacred Mountain which was a bit deeper into her territory, of course it was located on top of a mountain that reached up above even the clouds.

She really didn't want to be bothered, what a NEET.

I could sense some Vampires around, most of which already noticed our presence due to Hinata who couldn't perfectly conceal her Aura yet.

Unlike the palace in Night Garden, Luminous's Inner Sanctum was where she was usually lazing about. I'm pretty sure she just doesn't want to be disturbed by her Vampire minions so she has her main residence as far away from Night Garden as reasonably possible.

Yet the Holy Ark was still located in Night Garden. I wonder why Luminous didn't have Chronoa sealed in her inner sanctum where she usually is.

Night Garden is a bit more secure, I'm guessing that's probably why, not like it matters anymore.

A few moments after we appeared, multiple Vampires appeared surrounding us from all sides.

I rolled my eyes as Hinata sighed.

"Please inform Luminous of my arrival." She told the one in the lead.

The man had red eyes, brown hair, and was overall a very attractive individual as all powerful supernatural beings are, it's practically a rule.

The man gave us a short bow. "I apologize, your energy signature has changed somewhat so I had a hard time recognizing who it was that appeared Lady Hinata." He then turned to me. "And you must be Demon Lord Felix." He said with a bow. "It is a pleasure to finally meet you, Lady Luminous has had much to say about you."

"Haha, I'm sure she does." I laughed.

He then looked at the surrounding Vampires, seemingly sending them a signal with his eyes alone as they all vanished.

"Lady Luminous is already aware of both of your presences, she is waiting for you in the lounge."

Hinata nodded. "Very well, thank you Luthor."

The Vampire I now knew was named Luthor bowed again before disappearing into the shadows.

"That was wholly unnecessary."

Hinata nodded. "Indeed, but they do take the security of the inner sanctum very seriously, it is only right for them to investigate an unknown being who appeared."

"Sure sure, so who were they anyway? Each of them were pretty strong even among the Vampires."

The Vampire in the lead, Luthor was around the Special-A level, he had a little over 200,000 EP.

"They are Luminous' personal guard, they make sure the Sacred Mountain is not breached while also fulfilling any tasks that Luminous requires of them. Luthor is a Surmounter as well and a very highly regarded Vampire due to his strength." Hinata answered.

"I see."

It didn't take us long to enter Luminous' inner sanctum. I noticed Hinata looking at the entrance with a fond smile.

"Did something happen here?"

Hinata nodded. "This is where I first confronted Luminous and defeated Roy and Louis."

I nodded in realization. "Ah, when Luminous healed you and then beat you up?"

Hinata's lips twitched. "Indeed, did she inform you about that?"

"Yup she did."

Hinata clicked her tongue and walked forward, the double doors in front of us opened on their own, I rolled my eyes when I could spot Luminous laying on her couch as she lazily looked at us.

I sighed as I walked through the doors. "Stop being so lazy you NEET."

Luminous gave me a lazy smirk as she patted the open spot on the couch. "I will do whatever I wish." She responded.

I sensed Hinata slowly trailing behind me, it seems she was confused about something.

I took a seat next to Luminous who shifted her positioning so she was sitting up. She scooched closer to me as I looked at her in confusion before she got up and settled straight in my lap.

"I have no complaints." I voiced out as I felt Luminous's plush ass press against me.

"Fufu, I would expect nothing less." Luminous said as she radiated an aura of smug.

I looked towards Hinata who was just staring at us slackjawed in the center of the room. Luminous followed my gaze. "What are you doing just standing there? Take a seat Hinata." Luminous said with a frown.

Hinata mechanically nodded as she sat on the free loveseat.

Ah right. She didn't know about the change of status between Luminous and me. Oops.

Luminous settled on my lap with her back against my chest, I placed my hands over her waist and onto her stomach, if Luminous wanted to cuddle I wasn't going to protest, little things like this matter.

"How have you been Hinata? Did you enjoy yourself in the Tempest?" Luminous asked.

Hinata still seemed out of it, but she did still respond. "I am fine, Luminous."

I could see Luminous pouting. "I see, I am still quite cross with you for immediately leaving my side."

Hinata looked to the side with some guilt. "I now realize that may have not been the best move, I apologize for that but I am here now."

"Fufu, I am merely teasing you, I can understand that you wished to see your friends and students that reside in Tempest." Luminous said with a smile.

She then looked at Hinata up and down. "And it seems that was the correct choice, you have become Divine now it seems."

Hinata nodded while looking at me. "I did thanks to Felix."

Luminous nodded as she tilted her head to look back at me. "I see, thank you for that then."

"It's no problem, she's my student too, it's normal to want to see how strong she can get."

She rubbed her ass against my crotch provocatively. "Perhaps we can celebrate then." She purred.

"I'll never say no to that." I said as I squeezed her hips a bit tighter. "But let's leave that for later, I'd rather just spend some time with you." It was important to distinguish that I wasn't just after sex.

Luminous blushed. "I-I see."

How adorable.

I noticed Hinata pouting to the side, as did Luminous as she turned around. "I am assuming you immediately challenged Felix?"

I responded for Hinata. "No, I challenged her so she could have a chance to let loose a bit and gain a bit more understanding of her newfound power."

"You still beat me though." Hinata muttered.

I rolled my eyes. "You're going to need to make a lot more progress to have a chance at beating me Hinata."

Hinata sighed. "I know."

Luminous laughed. "I see you still have the same goal, even back then you would say how you wished to defeat Felix."

Hinata blushed. "Luminous!"

"Fufufu, are you embarrassed?" Luminous teased. "Still, it seems that I need to pick up on my training. From the energy I am sensing from you Hinata, your reserves almost rival mine." Luminous said with an impressed nod.

"Yeah, you need to break out of your NEET ways!" I added. Though Luminous's total energy has increased a bit since I first met her, her energy increased by about 15% which is significant progress.

She's going to have a somewhat harder time getting stronger since she really has no more evolutions she can piggyback off of, so it'll be all hard work for her.

Maybe I can help her out in some way? Directly offering to help Luminous won't work, she is too prideful to accept, even if we had become lovers it wasn't like Luminous' being changed, in the end she was a very prideful and haughty woman, she just had a bit of a soft side for those she cared about.

Maybe I'll just tell her of a good way to train then and leave it at that. In the end hard work would be the deciding factor for Luminous since she couldn't cheat like me.

I felt Luminous pinch my thigh. "Oww! Did you seriously use Asmodeus for that?!" I said completely flabbergasted.

"Hmph!" Was the only response I got from Luminous.

She used Asmodeus to bypass my Pain Nullification, though to be fair I did let her through my Infinity.

Hinata looked at us weirdly but seemed to sigh in resignation.

Luminous and Hinata chatted a bit as Luminous used me as her throne, I only added things in here and there but I was content to let the two catch up. I had offered to leave but Luminous insisted that I say, in her words my lap made for a good throne.

"Why don't we catch up further at a later date Hinata? I am sure that you have many things you wish to check up on." Luminous said.

Hinata nodded. "That is fine with me." Hinata then turned to look at me. "Will you be leaving Felix?"

Before I could answer, Luminous spoke up. "I wish to go out together Felix if you have time." She said as she looked at me.

I nodded. "Yeah that sounds good to me."

Luminous smiled giddily. "Good."

I could feel Hinata staring into me but I just ignored her. I would say it was that time of the month but Hinata didn't have those anymore.

"Come, I have already made the preparations." Luminous said as we were engulfed in a flash of light.

- Hinata Sakaguchi -

She stared at the flash of light that enveloped Felix and Luminous with conflicting emotions.

When she first entered the room she expected for Felix to tease Luminous, and then for Luminous to retaliate in someway, not for Felix to take a seat next to Luminous and for Luminous to sit on his lap like it was perfectly normal, for a moment she thought she was dreaming.

She had no idea what had happened for Felix's and Luminous's… relationship to develop in that direction, the two practically seemed like fire and ice when they first met.

Opposites attracted but she didn't think that would actually apply to Felix and Luminous!

Back in the past when she would tell Luminous about Felix she noticed that Luminous had a hidden curiosity about Felix, she wasn't sure what exactly Luminous was curious about but it could be many things, Felix had plenty of mysteriousness surrounding him after all.

She always had to hold back her laughter in those moments since she knew how much Felix would drive Luminous up the wall, yet things did not go in the direction she expected them to between Felix and Luminous.

She bit her lip as an odd feeling welled up inside of her, a feeling she had not felt in a long long time… jealousy.

She had long come to terms that she did care for Felix in a more romantic way, after spending centuries in the past without any contact or attachment with many other people she was often stuck in her thoughts which allowed her to understand a bit more about herself, she wasn't the same girl she was originally, one afraid of her own emotions, but that didn't mean she was entirely ready to actually confront her emotions head on.

She shook her head, Felix was a lecher of the highest order, Hinata did not know what she was thinking falling for a man like Felix, but emotions never followed logic, Felix was most definitely not the partner she thought of back when she was a child, and any time after that she never even considered a romantic partner both due to her situation and her ambitions.

She knew she was objectively beautiful, her evolutions had perfected her appearance to the point that in her old world she would have perhaps started wars over her appearance like Helen of Troy did, yet she still felt nervous about putting her feelings out in the open, perhaps that was just the insecurity of a girl in love.

She shook her head, she needed a distraction, she didn't want to think of what Felix and Luminous were up to right now.

"It is nice to see you again, Lady Hinata." She blinked as she turned to the voice.

Her lips curled upwards ever so slightly as she nodded to the old Vampire. "Gunther, it has been a while hasn't it."

In Gunther's perception it likely hadn't been that long since he last saw her, but that was a different version of her, a younger version of her. It had been quite some time since he met the current her, the one that ventured to the past and grew all the more for it. It had been a while since she met this version of Gunther as well.

"Hohoho, it has not been too long, but I am used to waiting." Gunther responded.

She nodded, Gunther was an immortal Vampire, he saw time differently from her who was also immortal yet didn't have the experience of living for such a long period of time.

She had been alive for centuries at this point and she could remember thinking how slow the years would pass by, but perhaps she was just eager to get back to the future.

Those years were somewhat enjoyable, however nowhere near as enjoyable for Hinata as her time in the present was, back then she hadn't wanted to get attached to anyone as she believed that doing so would only cause her pain in the future, not to mention she was also afraid of changing the future, so in the end those centuries she lived in the past were dull and gray, with only a little bit of color in her life in Chloe and Luminous.

Gunther was also someone she could consider a friend, after how long they knew each other it would be a disservice to not consider him a friend.

In the end however no matter her evolutionary status it would take time for her to get used to her immortality, as a being with Divinity her lifeforce was nigh infinite.

"How have you been Gunther?" She wasn't talking to him as Hinata Sakaguchi, the hand of god and Luminous's right hand, she was talking to Gunther as the woman she was in the past, the Hero who spent far too much time with a Demon Lord.

"I have been doing well enough, tending to Lady Luminous' needs is always a task but it is one that I am eager to do." Gunther laughed.

She had no idea why exactly Gunther had decided to serve Luminous in particular, and with such loyalty as well.

"I'm sure it is, Luminous can be unreasonable quite often." Hinata said with a roll of her eyes.

Gunther nodded. "Hoho, that is true. Just the other day she had me clean up her bedroom that she used in her romp with Lord Felix."

Her lips twitched. "... I see."

It was obvious that the two must have slept together, Felix is Felix, and Luminous is Luminous, Luminous could not hide her degenerate fantasies from her of all people.

"If you don't mind an old man's meddling, if you truly wish to have a place by Lord Felix's side do act sooner rather than later, I have seen others in your situation many times before." Gunther sighed.

She nodded out of respect. "I will take your advice into consideration."

It wasn't that odd that Gunther had seen similar things to her own situation. In Vampire culture it wasn't prohibited for one to have a harem, as long as you were strong enough you could generally do whatever you wished.

She still felt the need to work off some steam, and she knew just what to do.

"It was nice seeing you again Gunther, but I have a task I must accomplish."

Gunther bowed. "It was nice to see you as well, do come visit from time to time, Lady Luminous may not show it but she does miss your company."

She smiled hearing that. "I will be around quite often, I am still the right hand of god after all."

Gunther smiled hearing her. "I see. It will be enjoyable company with this version of you."

"Fufu, I'm sure, back before I remember I always used to be too serious, I focused so much on my work and goals that I didn't live my life." She said with a reminiscing sigh. "Anyways, goodbye Gunther."

"Goodbye Hinata." The old Vampire responded.

She created a portal leading to the Grand Cathedral in front of her and then walked through.

She planned to test her subordinates abilities, the Ten Great Saint's in particular, after her experiences she could truly be considered their better by a great margin, so she would be able to advise them properly without issue.

Her energy reserves were filled by Felix, and she had more than enough stamina to deal with some Enlightened and an Incomplete Saint.

She smiled as she appeared in her office, she wasn't solely a member of the military, she had other roles that she fulfilled that was more of an office job. She took a seat on her chair, relaxing into the plush cushions she had commissioned.

She pressed the button under her desk, moments later she heard a knock on the door.

"Come in Nikolaus."

The door opened, the first thing Nikolaus did was give her a quick bow. "Lady Hinata. What did you require?"

"First, thank you for maintaining my office." There was a reason dust hadn't gathered and that she had no work waiting for her, Nikolaus was practically her right hand so he had the authority to make decisions for her to a certain extent.

"It was no issue my lady." Nikolaus responded.

She truly did wonder just why Nikolaus was so loyal to her, she didn't think she did anything special.

"I have called you to ask you to gather the rest of the Ten or rather Nine Great Saints since Felix poached Glenda. Gather them in the Crusaders' meeting room."

Nikolaus firmly nodded. "As you wish, I will do so now."

Once Nikolaus was gone she sighed as she closed her eyes and relaxed in her chair. She was actually somewhat looking forward to meeting the rest of her compatriots after so long; she may not have been particularly close to any of them, but she enjoyed Saare's rebellious streak, Leonard's seriousness, Arnaud's calmness. Each of them had traits that were somewhat admirable, there was a reason that made them candidates to one day become true Champions, she hand picked each of them for a reason.

Author's Note:

Hello there, back with another chapter of Daemon. Hinata finally learns about the nature of Felix and Luminous' relationship and doesn't know what to think. This chapter was meant to add a bit more depth to Hinata's character, explain some of her reasoning and some of her experiences while also expanding on Felix and Luminous' relationship. I didn't want to just kill Luminous' character because she was "waifu'd" she has her own motives, her pride, and everything else in between and it would be a disservice to turn her into some xianxia harem member who suddenly loses all personality.

There are still some more events to go before Granbell's big attack, I should really add the "slow burn" tag to this fic huh? I didn't think this fic would move so slow but I was wrong, and I think this fic is better for it. The world is expanded on more, characters and events also are, hopefully you all think the same.

Anyways, thanks for reading, peace.

Thanks to @Bonvoyage, @Salante, and @Flowerman for beta'ing this chapter.
