Proud

My eyes shoot open to see Gina seated on the chair facing the bed I was lying on. I gave her a strange look while wondering what was going on and why she was in my room. But I didn’t bother to say a word. If she won’t understand that I need my space from the look I gave her, I won’t be sorry for anything I do to her next. I lift the duvet off my body, trying to stand up from the bed. But I immediately halt due to a sharp pain in my head, stressing down to my eyes.

“You passed out on the bathroom floor,” Gina said. That information felt irrelevant to me. What’s the need to reply to what she just said? It’s not like it would change anything. I just forced myself out of the bed cause I needed to get to the airport and catch my flight back to Lagos. Balogun permitted me to leave for only 2 days. And I can’t even take an extra day away, I have plans to execute. And staying back because of some headache would be me delaying my course.
