A Mole

"Why? Has he been kidnapped or something?" Kobe said, a smirk making its way on his sinister face; he was enjoying it very much. Darcy's grip on her gun tightened, her fury bubbling beneath the surface.

"Just tell me, old man. Where is Cayden? I'll leave quietly after I take him. But if you resist, know that I'll have no second thoughts about ending you right now," Darcy spat, with her gun aimed squarely at Kobe, her resolve unwavering.

"Go ahead, I suppose you're more interested in venting your anger on me than actually finding that pathetic excuse for a human being," Kobe chuckled, the incarnation of villainy, his men echoing his amusement, their laughter ringing in the air.

Darcy knew that breaching the building was a piece of cake. It was the army of armed men standing between her and Kobe, that posed the real threat. If she killed Kobe now, she'd likely lose her own life in the process, and Cayden's life hung in jeopardy, nonetheless.
