Cayden was all done with the dressing and was now tidying up, putting all the things back in their places, and disposing of the used materials in the nearby bin. As he went about his business, Darcy's question caught him off guard.

"Where will you sleep?" she asked as she did not know where he was sleeping while she was knocked out unconscious for a whole week. However, she would hate to know if he was sleeping on some uncomfortable surface like a sofa.

Unknown to her, Cayden had actually been sleeping right by her sight on a chair, keeping an eye on her, waiting for her to wake up but he reckoned she did not need to know the truth.

"There is a guest room in this house," he said matter-of-factly, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly as if it was some common information being passed around.
