"Come sit here," said Darcy to Cayden who was lingering around the common room awkwardly while the whole gang was basically celebrating, clinking glasses of beer together, and hooting and cheering loudly.

Cayden was hesitant at first, but since no one seemed to mind his presence and someone even pushed him in Darcy's direction, he thought it would not be too bad and even if it was, Darcy was there for him. His eyes met Dominic's disapproving gaze.

Well, everyone except Dominic did not mind his presence in there and Cayden decided to completely ignore him.

He walked ahead to go and sit beside Darcy on the main sofa.

He had the whole day to himself, and only at midnight had Darcy returned with all her subordinates. All of them were looking pleased and fulfilled as if they had put their hands on something big, like a mine filled with treasure.
